Lower the XP needed for paragon points after 250!

You have to play/grind 14 hours a day to get 1 or 2 Paragon points. It is a burnout grind. Stop the madness!

They can’t have you run out of things to do. It’s the only reason.

People can say there’s no endgame their response can be “Oh ya? Have you grinded to paragon 300? See there is endgame and our game isn’t crap!”

Last season I only made it to 257 then I just quit playing the game. Just didn’t see the point anymore…

That’s the intention. It’s not fun. It’s for people who insist on playing after they’ve stopped having fun. Let your paragon xp roll over to eternal and eventually you’ll hit 300 there.

I pushed to a bit over 290 last season. Like 293ish I think. It was not fun.

I don’t think they need to lower it though, but it would be nice if it was a fun push. Not just pit after pit after pit.

No, I want something to do with my eternal character, because it sure as heck isn’t getting 2/3GA gear upgrades.

They need to add endgame push content like d3 has with greater rifts and non seasonal Leaderboards. Before the paragon creep non seasonal was pretty popular in d3.

The paragon 300 cap gives d4 a huge advantage over D3 if they ever did add endgame content with a leaderboard similar to greater rifts.

No, the XP required is fine and the power difference between p260 and p300 is minimal.

It doesn’t take that long.
I went from 280 to 283 this Saturday .
Depends what pit lvl you running.
Just join a group that does pit 120 in under 3 min.

It’s a grind-hard try-hard carrot chase for the folks who chant “town is lava… town is lava…i is geegee…i is geegee” and drink as many toxic energy drinks as their favorite streamer and aspire to be as g.e.r.d. as them by their mid thirties and, by self-destructive virtue, have very little concern for their health and overall well-being.
So are these systems designed for the hyper focused, dedicated and 1337 of our species.

The point is that you don’t have to get to 300 but it’s there for the people that want to always be gaining exp toward something

Really? 299-300 took me less than a day.

Just wondering, OP Have you ever played Diablo 2?

The problem is they don’t understand seasonal content…

or how to test a patch before release, make decisions with common sense and not use manipulated metrics to keep their jobs. Every time leadership makes a statement i understand why we have the clumsy clown show and a sales tool we mistakenly call a game.

I did the grind to P300 last season.

I will not do it again. You also don’t need to grind as excessively as your saying for each point.
But cumulatively, it starts to wear on you big time.
I was using a SB evade build to do P70 runs in 60(ish) seconds. But after doing what feels like thousands of runs… even 60 seconds feels like forever. It gets so monotonous.
Just thinking about it makes me get aggravated lol.
In the end, the effort vs reward is simply not worth it to me at all.
That being said… I do not think they should make it easier at all.
It’s a chase item for the sweatiest of sweatlords and in no way necessary.

Btw, the real grind does not start till P260. That last stretch is brutal lol.

can refer to this estimation chart before making decision :

reddit: Paragon 300 Calculator - When will you see your family again?

299-300 takes 4-5 hours of 4ppl 100-105 pits run, it may change based on how many break u take and how fast u are ofc.
So yep, less than a day for sure!

i am at lvl 282 at the moment it takes me me about 2 hours to get one lvl…
where on earth do you need 14 hours for 1 lvl after 250?
are you playing on normal?

The last level requires 1B XP and it took about 3.5 hours to do last season playing solo.

My sorc last season averaged around 300m XP per hour doing 1.5min pit 65 (30 runs per hour).

Yeah, as I said it all depends on how fast and how many breaks u take.
Since I did 298-300 yesterday, I changed class on last level to bring different vibes and took a lot of eat-walk timeout to deal with this overwhelming and totally unnecessary task.
Survived, yes, but dead inside :joy:
