Low hanging fruits to make D4 the best ARPG of all time

Low-hanging fruits that will make D4 the greatest ARPG of all time.

-Loot filter
-Armory
-Clan stash
-Group finder
-In-game trading hub
-Reworked tempering to roll like enchanting. (two options or keep the same)
-More cosmetic pets to be found in-game
-Slightly* nerf S tier builds: Greatly buff D C and B tier builds. (more class balance)
-More crafting options other than enchanting, tempering, and masterworking
-More ways to farm glyph XP other than doing NMDs
-More endgame content parallel to the hordes and pit
-expand the boss ladder; bring back Malphas and Asteroth

I agree it’s all such fundamental stuff that would just greatly enhance the experience

I’m okay with most of the list, but I don’t like the n word. The s tier builds can’t do pit 200, probably won’t do tier 10 horde. No need for nerfs. And the d4 devs don’t nerf “slightly”.

İt is a pity that 10-12 years older d3 had/has half of the QOL things listed and D4 was released without them

Nowadays it has become common to release the game at half stage … call it live service and add them later on

Afteer the gamescon reveal, we can cross out some of the items on this list. They are adding the scroll of retempering which solves the tempering issue. We can cross out group finer, since that was revealed. Then we can cross out more endgame parallel to the pit and hordes, since they revealed the Kurast undercity. Still though, where is group finder and armory? We still need clan stashes, and clan stashes is a very low hanging fruit. Blizzard, please add a loot filter and an armory, and a clan stash. Hopefully, we can get these by the launch of the expansion.

In Fenyx Rising you literally had to shoot fruit off the trees to gain HP.

Bro says to make tempering the same as enchanting and in the same breath asks for more crafting. Make up your mind buddy. We all know that you really want just unlimited freedom and protection from any risk.

Stop spending so much time on forums and try using that time to grind instead. You’re playing an ARPG after all. Better yet go play Eternal you only need to grind once

Here’s my theory on why they won’t make the core game good. If eternal is actually playable and the progression on there is very long term, “the end game is good” etc.

If these high quality changes occur, which are EXTREMELY simple to imagine…
Then what happens to battle pass progression?

Why do you think loot is so excessive and frustrating? You’re just supposed so chore your way to level 100 and finish the battle pass and quit, and the small carrot in the room is leveling another character to do the seasonal theme quests XD it’s all just setup for the battle pass.

If the actual core game/eternal would be good then too many people would simply play that instead.

I mean that’s the only reasonable observation I could make as to why it’s designed the way it is, I could never imagine that the actual developers are so malnourished that they can’t comprehend this, it’s all corporate greed and the greyshirts at and above Blizzard rule our dopamine and how it’s supplied.

Regret buying the ultimate d4 edition, didn’t even finish that season 1 battle pass because that season was so bad. Didn’t buy any battle passes(would if I actually had love for the game).
Didn’t buy the expansion, kinda trying to convince myself not to!

Which is strange, because I really want to play a Blizzard game and a Diablo game, I really do! But why these anti-enjoyment systems/designs? They feel so predatory, and it’s a sad thing, D4 could actually be good but maybe it’s actually D5 or further along in a decade+ time that will actually be good, can’t imagine this predatory mtx mobile model or it’s mutations to last very much longer.

Look, all the QoL things that were in an old game like D3 will be reintroduced slowly into D4 as improvements.

This sub forum is a brainstorm on how to make the game better for everyone, especially people who play the game. We are hoping that if these changes come to fruition, it will bring back former players who quit during season one.

It’s amazing how you could think of all of that, but they can’t even imagine putting in a single one of those in the game by season 5. If this game wasn’t called diablo, it would have been such a massive failure. It has 100% rode the success of the diablo name and rode it right into the ground.

Lol I like sarcasm, so this is right up my alley. Wait, you aren’t serious, are you?

LOLOLOL They actually revealed a group finder? In 2024? Did they expect applause for releasing it after every game has had them for 20 years…including games THEIR OWN COMPANY MADE!

Yeah, the game was massively undercooked at launch. I noticed that a lot of social features were missing from the game that have been in WoW for nearly 20 years. The group finder which had been in WoW since WotLK, Clans stashes which are in every MMO and ARPG, The armory which was in D3. Loot filters that were in every ARPG. I will be happy when these get added to D4, but why weren’t these in here at launch?

So you can be an unpaid beta tester for Blizzard. Thanks for your hard work.

Forums are more fun then d4, maybe we should address the problems of the game when that’s the case eh?
