I have to reinstall my GPU drivers every time I start the game because it’s stuck at 30fps in menu and 50 in game. Once I reinstall my drivers it’s back to smooth 150+ fps at all times, not sure what’s going on.
Having this same problem. Reinstalling drivers before each time I play.

Same issue, despite going through the process of using the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and performing a fresh installation. It’s disheartening that the problem still persists.
It seems to be some trouble with afterburner too, can anyone confirm?
This is pissing me off now, fix this sht
Not on my end.
I did not have Afterburner installed previously, and had no FPS issues, as such. I have now installed Afterburner to set fan curves and do not experience these FPS issues described here.
There has been an Nvidia driver update. Article on the patch notes here:

Still having the issue even with new drivers. Only fix I have found is to reinstall the driver. I have to reinstall each time my PC restarts, or even goes to sleep and wakes up. FPS is maxed at 144 after reinstall, otherwise it hovers around 30-40FPS.
Reinstalling driving didn’t fix mine, I’m still staying at 5-10 fps. I’ve played daily since early access on June 1st, have over 140 hrs, yet this didn’t start until yesterday. I was on for over 5 hrs yesterday and I was at 5-10 fps the entire time, and now today I have been too.
Humor me.
Try setting both the foreground AND background FPS in-game to a cap of say… 60FPS. Just for giggles.
See if that does anything?
Think I found it, try and open afterburner and see if your afterburner has turned down powerconsumption to 0% (powerlimt.) and temp limit.
Try and open afterburner if you have that installed and check for power limit % it is probably set at 0%, set it back to 100% and temp limit to 83. should do the trick, did for me atleast.
I think you’ve cracked the case! I’m testing a few different variables, but this seems to have fixed it.
Can confirm the issue was with afterburner, thank you @KamikazeAndy
