Just wanted to throw a shout out to those who still appreciate this franchise as well as WoW.
I have been playing Blizzard games since Diablo in 1996 (not the first Blizzard game, I know), and this dang company hooked me in from when I was 12 years old and hasn’t let up to this day…
I remember my father scolding me and taking away my computer privileges during the 1996 Diablo days and 1998 Starcraft days, when my report card wasn’t doing none too well, LOL.
Almost 30 years later, here I am…
Just curious as to everyone else’s experience with Diablo and/or Warcraft days, whether you are an OG or a newcomer.
I will always be a Blizzard fanboy.

My mom used to be a gamer of sorts and got me into Diablo. I’ve been a fan of the franchise ever since. I bought a new gaming PC just for Diablo 3. Despite the criticisms of D4 which I agree with them for the most part, still a huge fan of the series. I hope it gets better and soon.
Also got into Starcraft big time right as Brood War was coming out. Still love those games too. When I think RTS games, SC is the very first thought or maybe Red Alert.

Why dont you tell us how you really feel about it.
nothing wrong with that at all. I like d4 quite a lot as well.
Of course theres lots of room for improvements but honestly, i tried the competition and most of them are just flat garbage lol (except for LE in some aspects, like the skill system).
dont be suprised tho, quite some of our special humans here will tackle this thread pretty heavily ^^ - wouldnt even be suprised if they flag it

oh you should try d2r when its on sale and you are up for the nostalgia ^^
i had quite some good hours with it. tho, it of course wears off way faster than back in the d2 days. Still, great to relive the d2 time with enhanced graphics ^^

Which is crazy to me, because for those who seemingly LOVE to hate Blizzard and Diablo or WoW or whatever, they certainly know how to come back…

i mean, at a certain point youll have to differ between people who dislike the game. There are quite some who genuinely have nice improvement suggestions which are pretty worth the time of a discussion. Some are just angry kiddos. Of course since its the internet, its sometimes hard to differ.
Personally i give d4 a 6(with a tendency to a 7) out of ten, which makes it a solid entry for the franchise.

Since then i am a Blizzard junky.

My first blizzard game was Starcraft.
Never even knew they had other games until I saw Warcraft 3.
Remember seeing Diablo II and thinking, “doesn’t end with ‘-craft’, I’m gonna stick to what I already know…” and never bought it.
Ironically loved ARPG’s, just never looked into Diablo until much much later.
never really got too deep into witcher, not sure why. its been ages until i had a solid gaming pc, i tried witcher, but quit it pretty early (most likely due to the whole new world of gaming possibilities back then for me^^). maybe i should give it another go.
