Losing Quest Progress

I just want to know who the hell coded the quest checkpoints because they need to be beaten with a bag of padlocks. I got disconnected from the game after beating Mephisto at the end of the “All Good Things” quest and it put me BACK AT THE START OF THE ENTIRE QUEST ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Does Blizzard even have playtesters anymore or do we just pay them for the privilege of doing it ourselves? Anyone with two firing neurons should have known to put a checkpoint after the boss fight.

That was an awesome fight! I wish I could do it again because it went by too quickly.

Yeah, the fight was good, and I wouldn’t mind having to do it again if I didn’t also have to do the entire Akarat’s Tomb dungeon again as well. I just don’t understand the way the quests are coded in this expansion. God forbid you get disconnected or have to leave your computer in the middle of a quest. It seems like such a no-brainer to put checkpoints after major progress milestones but there are none.

Happened to me three times tonight. Had to rerun slow boring run through the jungle quests due to crashes/disconnects. I am not a hater by any means, love the game, but this performance is totally unacceptable.
