Lore question: where is Rathma

In the base game we see the lifeless body of Rathma, however in the dialog Rathma said that death is not the end. Rathma also had the gift of prophecy and he was the greatest of the Nencromamcers. I personally do not believe that he is “dead” what say you.

Dead.

I say a lot of stuff that isn’t true too

He’s dead as bruh

Death is not the end. Just look at Ghouliani. :skull: :oil_drum:

This is a pretty good necro name I might use it.

There are spirits in the game. Whomever Blizzard decides get to assist us as Spirits.

Who truly knows, … maybe he’ll be in the next expansion.

He could help us fight the Anti Akarat

((:scream:))

Rathma is a cosplayer he is cosplaying.

For a necromancer, specialy if it’s a powerful nephalem death is never the end. Their existence in the physical realm is gone, so in a conventional meaning they ARE dead. But as we know, from the lore of Diablo, there are many other realms of existance. So his body is dead, but his spirit is ethernal, wherever it may linger currently. This is a plot hole that still needs to be filled in.

eh, sometimes people are wrong. He didn’t realize that Lilith made his character in HC.

May be similar to how death for the denizens of hell isn’t the end either. How many times has Diablo come back now? Arguably Rathma isn’t as powerful, so it’s taking him longer to come back.

His new identity will be revealed soon.
