Demons respawn overtime and angels get re-birthed under a new name to fill in the blanks… so now that Inarius (((belongs in hell))) and lilith will eventually spawn to home… what’s the point of echoes and how do they even make any sense in the lore… get rid of this stupid nice writting Blizz:melting_face:

The arch will make a replacement angel but it is 100% entirely new. Only tyrael is exception (which could of been due to what killed him (world stone exploding).

However its likely that if you could enter the Abyss (where they are sent to) and kill em there its likely possible to perma kill a demon.
think of em as fasle manifestations of the originals.

D2 had uber diablo & clone diablo that didn’t make any sense lore wise and are just there gameplay wise.

the “re-” prefix means again or repeat. That would be an angel being made again…which doesnt happen as the Arch makes an entirely new angel to replace the lost one.
