Similar, tried to complete it twice between 1:00 and 3:00 CET on 3rd February. I think I looted 11 and 12 chests. Not opening living steel or mystery gift, but standard armor/jewelry/weapon chests.
Tested it again today, still not working.
Bumping all threads related to this issue.
I got a reply from my ticket from Blizzard Support and they said there is nothing they can do except in the future the devs should fix.
