I’m a returning player. Now that I’m 100…sorting through loot has become one of my most hated things to do in game. So to the vets…do you just leave everything on the ground in NMD/NMV except for maybe like legendries and uniques. What about in the open world (helltides/WB/Legion events…etc.)
Honestly the amount of loot that is showered upon you is overwhelming.
well, i might not do it as many others do, but i leave a lot on the ground. Personally i check which slots i need serious improvements on, and focus on these.
The amount of loot heavily increased with s3 indeed. the item level is great, but thats how i personally save myself some time as i dont like a clustered chest.
I’ve gotten lazy at sorting through the loot. There are a few pieces I need yet so I do glance through the loot, but I probably miss some good potential replacements. If it doesn’t have %armor, %life, or MS/AT speed I pretty much chuck it at this point. Funny thing is the majority of my kit is 800’s ilvl except my weapons and 1 ring vs last season I was decked in 925 ilvl in all slots.
I just haven’t found as good of stuff in higher ilvl gear, the rolls are lower and/or not as good of affixes as the lower gear I’ve found.
IF an item has 3 max stats I list it on diablo.trade no matter what it is. Ive had some ppl buy some off meta items for quite a bit like 250m so its worth it.
Ask for a loot filter and watch the mazed come crawling out of the woodwork to tell you 50 reasons why we don’t need one and you should be thankful that you get to spend more time sorting gear then actually acquiring it.
It is tiresome in the beginning but once you start finding your gear, i start leaving what I don’t need on the ground. If I need a new helmet and 2 handed swords, I leave the rest. I always pick up uniques in case they are better for my toon or my other ones. Salvage the rest. You save time and you’ll still get plenty of mats because 99% of what you did pick up suck.
