Logitech gaming software

I have a fairly old mouse (Logitech G700s) and want to look after it as its comfortable in the hand and I use it every day.

I comes with software to configure the profiles on the mouse, and would like an official word on whether configuring a button (right mouse button) to perform the same action
without having to keep smashing it (to save the life of the button switch) would be considered cheating? There are a number of posts I’ve seen online that say they’ve been banned for botting etc and wondered if this falls under that banner?

I’m running a double swing barb at the moment, and instead of whacking the RMB all day, I just want it to repeat if I hold the button down.

Thanks

Use of any third party software in Blizzard games is strictly prohibited. Especially any that automates a process. If the automated system catches you, you can be banned. Would advise against it myself.

remapping your buttons, while technically against the ToS wont get you into trouble. (doing it with my controller as a key is broken lol)

however, if the key press leads to multiple actions being done, you will pretty likely be detected. In the scenario you described, thatd be the case.

1 button press must equal 1 action. Anything outside of that would fall under automation and not allowed.
