RTX 3090

I noticed that while in the Que for login, my GPU fan was screaming, and noticed 99% GPU utilization.

Closed my other programs, and it holds stead around 80% GPU utilization.

I don’t think login menus should use so much power.

I can confirm the same thing for me just on RTX 2060… the PC tower is going to take off any second now…

I have an RX 5500 RT and sitting at 18% usage.

While waiting in queue GPU dedicated ram is at 100% 4GB and shared ram is at 1% and usage is at 66%.
On a laptop with a RTX 3050 Laptop GPU.
CPU usage and ram is low.

If I’m tabbed out of it after a couple minutes it calms down, the video ram stays full but GPU goes to almost nothing. But if I switch back its back up to the high usage.
I read on a blue post you said it was older hardware and wanted to let you know newer hardware has the issue too.
