Loadouts - Will they implement this?

Loadouts w/ expense

Lets say you saved a two loadouts
1 is iceshard
2 is ball lightning

the cost between shifting depends on how much pts will be respected.

Though this will require the devs time for computation.

Its been asked. Its been requested. Joe P doesnt think we need it. See his comments in the last video. It would make things alot more fun.

More like make players build another char to spend time. probably on my opinion a wrong way to make people work for something

Loadout system was pulled from Diablo 4 to resell on first expansion as a “feature”. I’m not from the future, it’s what we’ve observed over the past 15 years from blizzard.

We can only hope, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. D4 devs and QoL usually don’t seem to go along well.

Just transfer the gold cost for both the paragon board and the skill tree into 1 cost on a loadout menu similar to the cosmetic loadouts.

Cost to transfer builds would be around 8mil per swap.

Right now its a nice to have but not needed. The only real activity we have is the gauntlet. I can run T100 nmd with my gauntlet build, just need a little extra caution as I’m very squishy.

But once the gauntlet and an end game activity like AoZ 2.0 exist at the same time it’ll move into the need column. Reworking your build kinda sucks especially on a console.

Which is dumb because character slots are limited and I’m not going to delete a lv100. Should be able to try everything each class has to offer each season with 5 characters, not 25+. Why am I filling out the same paragon boards this many times, a load out seems too simple to implement.

You just have to have enough gold to switch.

i didnt really see a need for it before personally, but now with the Gauntlets i def agree, as the overall mobb difficulty is rather low in the gauntlets, so yea, obviously i prio different stats and paragons for it.

I dont think we need it tbh, if we get filters and search i really wont need a armory, i am playing barb main, i have respected alot this season, and once i know my class, i can respect boards easy,

Gear is a little harder which search and filters may help with, a armory for that would be okay i guess, i mean guild wars 2 has them and it is convenient in that game, but there is also no seasonal reset. So how much it really matters idk. Boards all i want is a refund board as sometimes i really only need to take away one board and swap it to make other builds work.

It would be a time saver though so if it wasn’t hard why not, however this game is larger and more to handle server wise than D3 so i would opt for the solution less likely to cause more technical or lag issues in the game. It’s bad enough at times as is.

So yeah idk, it’s been pretty easy for me to respec versus farm mats in the game so time wise its the least of the current evils imo lol

They do need to add this. Character progression isnt like it was in launch. Nothing means anything because of how cheap it is to respec.

Im hoping they do this sooner.

Personally I don’t think loadouts has a place in Diablo 4.
I think one pick a class and spec/build stick to it.

If one can change build on whim I think it trivialize situations and gameplay instead of actually learn to play your class and build you picked.

Don’t see how respecing paragon somehow prevents this rn. Just makes it annoying. Can’t switch anything in the gauntlet anyways.

What would Joe or rod know anything about what the game needs? The audacity.

LOL you’ll change your tune the day you make your own build and it seriously underperforms and not because you didn’t invest in the right multiplicatives but because some builds are just trash, then let’s see you change that build. Takes a long time, long long time especially with how bad itemization is

Yes we can do paragon resets and skill reset. But this will take like 30 to almost an hour. Given that there’s lot of points on paragon.

Unless I just copy paste a build from maxroll or mobalytics which I am not doing and I want to have my own build.

This is just Blizz wanting players to spend their time MORE on D4 and announce “We still have more players playing” etc… so on so forth.

Dumbest take ever. You CAN already do this it just takes you manually respeccing some points. It is quite easy to prohibit players from changing loadouts while in a dungeon, legion raid, Hell Tide, or fighting a World Boss. Make it to where you have to visit town to swap and it closes any Town Portals and resets any dungeon progress.

Now you just made the QoL better without impacting the game.
