Well it takes 9 so thats 3 chest per helltide, which is doable

I would say to remove materials so we dont need to summon boss. Stop doing like this way, devs!

It’s 5 steels per Grigore and 1-2 shards, so most likely 2 HT to summon 1 Uber maggot

I would also say that relying on some website showing the chest that doesnt work half the time also isnt a nice way to play that content.

Wandering around aimlessly to find it also is absolutely not fun.

I hate everything in the helltide… it’s just not a fun experience like that.

yeah, blood is 9. Which is worse.

How about also fixing that the chest text states it requires 300 materials to open when in reality it only takes 280…

The uber items really aren’t good enough for me to spend hundreds of hours this season grinding helltides so I get a shot at a 1/500 chance drop on Duriel.

They should just have the materials permanently unlock a run at the bosses which would then either be on timer (since they seem to really want to rate limit it), or be at the end of a dungeon so we can farm them at will. In D2 you could do a Duriel run in like 60 seconds.

Blizz is still down the game design path of making us have to engage with stuff we don’t want to do to let us do the thing we want to. Really, I should be doing Helltides and Legion events cause they’re fun and rewarding not because they’re gatekeeping content.

I didn’t think they could make me hate Helltides even more… well they sure did.

Takes 5… you can get up to 2 summons per helltide.

This is how I feel right now - the rest of the mats feel good because you get them passively doing content that you enjoy. Whereas, doing helltides feels like ‘gah it’s chore time’ when it spawns. If they just added the steel to Mysterious chests I would feel a lot better about it, but they make you choose between the two and you just simply don’t get enough steel to make you feel good about it. At all.

This. Helltides were ‘meh’ I don’t feel like it this time. But now, they’re kinda mandatory whereas the rest of the mats you generally get just playing.

Solution: Delete steel chests and just put the steel in mysterious caches. Also up it to 4-6 per. 3 is just silly.

Does it really? Better not mention this again they might fix it to require the actual amount it shows.

Id rather more 300 chests. There are maps that only have 2 locations. When you can aquire 2000 cinders doing 1 event its disheartening there arnt enough chests.

Can we just all agree that they should have Helltides rotate like Blood harvests and have the cinders carry over from zone to zone.

Just remove that stupid 1 hour cooldown which forces people to go after 1 specific type of reward every single time.

Helltides are never going to be a good system, it feels to me like it was some sort of rushed idea before launch so they had more than just nightmare dungeons.

They definitely should. As a casual and not a no-lifer even If I get 3 hours a day to play that doesn’t mean it’s 3 solid hours. I might get 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour before dinner - then I eat, workout, and spend time with the girlfriend and maybe I’ll get 1 hour before bed.

There’s a good chance the helltide is never up in any of those hours.

I’ve got a ton of stuff I want to re-roll and i’m blocked on mats.

Helltides are game over…I would rather watch toast.
