Hello! I found some bugs during the Open Beta and took some screenshots of them, but I’m not sure how I post them here.
My hardware is: AMD FX™-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, Windows 10 Home 64-bit.
I’ve tried running the game on Mid configurations, but my machine was not liking it, so I started playing on low default configurations. Anyway, in both cases the RAM memory usage was getting to 11+ GB, even playing just the game, with nothing running on the background. I’m citing this because I saw a post where somebody reported the same thing, even running the game in a much better PC than mine.
About the bugs themselves, I played only Sorcerer, and found this ones:
-When using Frost Nova on “ghost” monsters (E.g. “Wrathful Phantoms”, “Wraiths”, “Vengeful Spirits” and other monster of this kind) they get invisible;
-Inside the “Kor Dragan: Archives” boss fight vault, one of the monsters got “stunned forever” even after being defeated, so just the stun symbol was appearing. This bug occurred only inside this specific place, so I think it might have something to do with that;
-Inside the “Savina Hideout” Cellar, one of the mobs died and stayed up on his feet. As it was the only time I saw something similar occurring, maybe it was because of this specific Cellar;
-Some monsters, specially dungeon Bosses, appear to be Immune to freezing (at least with Frost Nova). I’m not sure this is intended, but, if it is, maybe would be nice to get a “pop” message saying “Immune”, or maybe a list of immunities below the monster’s name (just so we can keep our cooldowns for freezing their minions, for example);
-While I was inside a dungeon that required a key to open one door (the quest item was highlighted in purple) and tried to portal back to Kyovashad, I got a warning that the item could not be removed from the dungeon, so it dropped on the ground. This message appeared every time I opened the map, till I logged out (even when the quest item was not on my bag anymore). When I logged back in, there was no problem. I think this warning is unnecessary, as there is nothing we can do with this quest item aside from completing the quest’s objectives;
-Sometimes I got disconnected from the server when trying to teleport from a dungeon back to Kyovashad;
-Sometimes the tooltip for comparing items is not functioning automatically, and we have to press “Shift” key so it comes back to normal (this seems to have been reported some times);
-On “The Deep White”, while gathering spirits for the “Exorcist’s Cache”, sometimes the icon on the mini map highlighting the spirits’ location does not disappear, even after we collect the spirit;
-Some “Ore Veins” keep highlighted even after we interact with them. As we don’t see the same happening with plants/herbs when we collect the items, it seems this highlight is also not intended. I found examples throughout the map, some of which appear to work fine, and others that remain highlighted even after the ore item is picked up;
-On “Grags of Ill Wind” I could not jump nor teleport to one side of the mountain to the other (this happened for both sides). The icon with “spacebar to jump” is there, but nothing happens when we click it;
-Sometimes we see in the mini map that an “Event is nearby” highlighted in red, but when get there, nothing is happening (I’m not sure this is intended to highlight when an event is about to happen, but maybe it would be better if the highlight appear just when the event is already accessible to start);
-There is an invisible wall inside the Outer Gates dungeon (about 12 O’clock on the mini map). It seems that this bug has been reported a lot;
-Inside the “Haunted Cellblock” and “Beaconing Labyrinth” dungeons, there are some specific areas where the walls block our vision (usually happens around the corners);
-Can’t skip the voiceovers when we click on some Lore item (like a book, note or something) when pressing “Esc”. Not sure if this is intended, but it would be nice if we can skip it like in Diablo III;
-Inside the “Impaler’s Delve”, when getting a Lore about the “Rimescar Cavern”, we get the text about a “LARGE SCROLL”, and the text takes up about 20% of the entire screen. It is way too big, and it seems like is not intended to be so, as other Lore texts are much smaller;
-When we are changing our skills (refunding or expending a skill point) there is no dialog box asking if we are sure we want to select to learn or unlearn the skill. I’m not sure how expensive will be to refund skills at the endgame, so, maybe would be good to have a dialog asking if we really want to refund our skill points.
I think that is all! If you need any of the screenshots I have them here!
Thanks a lot for the attention!
