I am having the issues getting on (diablo 4) been trying my hardest to get back into the realm of diablo but every time I log in and get to character selection my console turns off completely abruptly doesn’t tell me any error code nothing just turns off. I mainly play on Console I did use PC previously at a relatives home and it worked fine during my time playing through the (gamepass of Xbox) when I got home my console just turns off every time I log in. I deleted the game re installed it several times in attempts to fix the issue no solution reset the console still happening. The problem still is on going. After further investigation my original account on my Xbox Console due to being a Xbox Console main player. Was switched and liked to my alternative Xbox account which I have access to and I also own which isn’t a problem if I were to just log in and play from there but that isn’t the case still crashing my system is their a way that this connection can be reversed due to the system of the battle.net auto connection selecting the wrong account. What it appears to me to be the problem the battle.net system is registering my original account info to my alternative account that was linked and matching the info and crashing when seeing that the linked account has never been played on my main account ever since my day one release of me playing (Diablo 4) if this error of the wrong account is to be reversed I am sure the problem would be fix instantly cause all the data would match from the day I started to play and all the characters and seasons I played on my orignal account. Spoke to Xbox help desk they assured me if it was reversed to my original account it would be fixed and they can’t reverse it would have to be battle.net they explained because of diablo is own and ran by battle.net and they can’t fix anything that’s on your end they explained how can I get my account reversed to my original account so the license and purchase and hours played all match to my original Xbox main account and not my Alt account that is displaying in error due to the auto selection portion of account connection on battle.net???
If playing the game is completely crashing your console and turning it off, that has nothing to do with your account linkage. It’s more likely have a problem with the console itself or the game running on the console.
I’m trying to figure out why you are thinking that account linkage is being right or wrong would have a bearing on why the console would just turn off. Those two don’t correlate.
If your account was wrong you would have the wrong character data when you signed in. It wouldn’t just crash off and turn off. To me it sounds like there’s something else going on besides your potential linkage problems.
I tried everything deleted the account and re added them to the console, deleted saves files, re installed the game after deleting it and disconnecting the console from the power for 30 mins which they say is excessive. Deleted persistent storage (3*) and it still is happening the reason I know it’s the account is because prior to the account that was connected in error my diablo 4 had never had one single error or crash since my day 1 early release access. Always played on that account. If it’s not the cause it should allow me to play on the other account on Xbox console without no problem but it still crashes and the game and console are both up to date up updates. I know of the account would be reversed to the prior change the issue will no longer happen seeing the console works fine with every other game except (Diablo 4) and spoke to Xbox and they told me it’s a game connection issue not a console issue. Cause even if I were to log into a PC to play the game it would also give me an error.
