Squishy as all hell and shred isn’t keeping up
Wolf Druid suffers the same fate as Feral Druid in WoW. Wannabe Rogue but reliant on sub-par methods.
Storm Wolf seems good though.
I went full Shred and poison as well until I just couldn’t take it anymore watching my friends fly past me from lv.1 to 70
I gave up and finally put on the Tempest Roar and went storm shred and now the game feels like a real Diablo game
If you need to breathe life into your werewolf Druid, tempest roar/waxing gibbous is the way
Yep, if you want to Shred you need both of these to feel on the same level. You’re still a bit below Wolfnado & Stormclaw if the focus is on NM Dungeons but Shred is a ton of fun and I’ll definitely be looking back to it once I find Tempest Roar =)
Is there a Shred build which only uses Waxing Gibbous? I do not have TR or Crone atm and don’t want to play bear anymore (done both Pulv and Trampleslide and quite sick of it). Have the other Druid uniques, but just not TR or Crone.

unfortunately most of the druids in this forum seems to be locked out of storm wolf

the only way to really use shred is blurred beast, i do that too, if you try to use it without the dash it’s even harder to survive as hordes of monsters will overwhelm you. but then it has to be a full poison build.
I have tryed the storm wolf but thats Not my Playstyle im more a melee, i Wish i can Play without Dash and use more the poison claw from Shred but the Monsters nuke you down (high NM Dungeons)when you stand still. Its hard to Generate so much Defensive to survive in an Elite Pack, so thats why i have to use blurred beast and Dash.
I don’t min max and am only level 73 but I have the item that after every shred kill I go onto stealth and crit. It’s really fun but can be hard for boss mobs
You mean Waxing gibbous, i have IT to, yea IT Works but as a Shred build you have anyway enough crit, approximately 50%, so the Axe give Not a high benefit and you waste an aspect that you could use better maybe. Exactly for Bosses Like pinnacle or other ist Not the best choose.
I thought the same thing, but my runs without Waxing were so much slower because of that loss of damage. I still have 44% crit even with waxing gibbous for instances where I have nothing to kill against a boss/elite
The guaranteed crit is the difference between utilizing 350%+ of your crit damage or not and that’s a lot of awfully missed damage when you don’t crit
The loss is immeasurably high when you do not crit to the point where it’s better to take the loss of an aspect in exchange for guaranteed crits. I hope that they do add in a skill tree ability that will consistently guarantee crits (that isn’t bad like Lupine Ferocity)
I still run Lupine for the 70% damage bonus when it crits, and because I feel like I have dry spells of critting if things aren’t dying in one shot to Waxing Gibbous. Just feels better to me.
For Conquistador, you can definitely run a Waxing Gibbous physical Shred build, just don’t expect to push high. Right now I speed through 55-60 NMs pretty regularly with mine, and my paragon board is a mess.
I don’t have my stats on hand since I’m at work, but I’ve got decently high +damage to healthy and +damage to injured which helps me out a fair bit.
