Are there no higher levels to play after you beat Lilith ? No Hell or nightmare levels ? The game is over and what ? Just run around looking for dungeons? There have always been new levels until now apparently. If there is a way to start over at a hell level I can’t figure out how to load it. Has anyone found a way to reload it at a harder level ?

Is it fair to assume you just finished the campaign? There’s World Tier 3 and World Tier 4 difficulties you can play after the campaign.
You can continue to play on Eternal and run dungeons or make a new character in the seasonal server and run dungeons.

D4 doesn’t work like D3, no hells and nightmare crap. just world tier 1-4

Thanks, I guess I should not have killed Lilith. I assumed that there would be higher levels
Not for the campaign, but once you’re done you’re free to roam around and do stuff in WT3 and WT4.
Also, there’s a much tougher version of Lilith in WT4
No one is really explaining this properly. After you finish all the campaign quests, a dungeon will become available for you in the cathedral in Kaoveshad(sp*). Its pretty easy anywhere after level 45 (so after the campaign).
Defeat this dungeon and touch the statue in the city square to open the next difficulty level.

The short answer to this thread is D4 doesn’t really have firmly defined, selectable difficulty levels. The world tier system exists but it behaves and is approached more like a progression system.
Selectable difficulty largely comes in the form of compartmentalized content. The scaling variety, in Nightmare and Pit dungeons, and uber bosses basically. It’s eerily similar to the way many MMO’s behave. The world exists and within it there are small snippets of content designed to provide a difficulty increase or the means to elevate it.
