Levelling up a Barb. What's the best Barb build for levelling in the campaign?

Am torn between HOTA and Upheval? Or anyone else have any recommendations?

Seasonal server or Eternal Realm. How much Renown do you have?

Seasonal barb. I’m working through the campaign cause I’ve never done it. So I’m basically starting from scratch. No renown, no powers, etc.

I recommend the youtube build. Watch the campaign cut scenes by summoning the right video link. Zip through campaign. Then go straight to Shako hunt.

Semi serious answer: maybe WW. But until 50 barb was painful just on movement speed alone. Whatever build you use, aspect of slaughter is your QoL Friend.

If you’re going through the campaign as a fresh account, it should be fine. The main quest line should give you enough xp and gear. I would recommend you to do it on World Tier 2. WT1 is a waste of time. It isn’t any faster or easier than WT2.
Getting to level 20 is your first hurdle. That’s when you get a mount. Until then kill anything that aggros. You just can’t get away fast enough.
Just don’t pick Unbridled Rage as your Key Passive. It double Fury cost for Core skills. Grab Unconstrained instead. At this stage of your journey, you won’t have access to high Fury generation. It isn’t until level 70 in WT4 does the Fury generation is high enough to compensate for Unbridled Rage.

Do the frenzy build while you can, it goes away with the seasonsl blood powers.

HotA and Upheaval will always be competitive.

Plus it’s fun XD

I don’t have the blood powers yet. Am still playing through the campaign.

Don’t forget to pick up side quest along the way even if you don’t plan to do them all. The objectives should be there on your path through the campaign. Or a little ways off. Your priority should be the main campaign regardless.
Don’t worry about dungeons until you’re level 25 when the Occultist opens up. When you get to level 25 just do the dungeons that gives you aspect that you can use. Skip all other dungeons. They won’t be relevent now. Just do the dungeons your campaign is in. Meaning you’re in ACT 1 in Fractured Peak so do all the dungones in the zone that will give aspects you can use.
