The developers of Season 5 didn’t think about leveling up?
Helltide is still there, and in S5
There are always enough Whispers to earn 10 Grim Favors within a given Helltide
as Devs said, so you can easily lvl up by helltide+whisper.

Better than RUN STORY MODE(D2 & LE)

Leveling is much easier than S0-S3 
There’s a lot to complain about in D4, but there’s nothing big about Leveling. New helltide is already fun(good loot/renown reward/Exp） for most players, compared to the original version.

They nerfed drop rates for hearts, the maiden’s loot table did not drop any manuals for me and you can no longer use two pots. Leveling will be slower.

That’s good. Farming maidens over and over again was extremely boring.

Not by much. Helltides still have massive density outside Maiden, and you can craft Legendaries at the alchemist. You just won’t see so many afkers at Maiden.

Maiden isn’t the most efficient upgrade in helltide in the first place, and it’s even more efficient to go around & whisper

The is more to leveling than just your level, less drops means less aspects, less temper manuals, etc… It will be more tedious and slower in season 5 if they don’t make changes.

Leveling is totally fine. You can do helltide… nightmare dungeons… even the pit if you like that more than the other activities… you can do whispers if you want… I think you can still run dopamine tunnels… Your choice.

Respectfully: it will be slower than just spamming Maiden pulls for 6 hours. yes.
Most of us did not level up via Maiden pulls in S4, we all got to 100 in a reasonable time, we got all of our Aspects and temper manuals, and had a jolly good time. In fact, it was probably too fast of a leveling process.
I promise that the sky isn’t falling and you might enjoy the game more if you’re not standing in one place pulling the Maiden over and over.

Season 5 will be short
That’s most likely why they are leaving leveling fast and trivially easy with no challenge even on hardcore rather than improving it to be a more satisfying and enjoyable.
