Leveling another SB alt

I would like to have SB alt that I could use to try other specs. Current main is Quill Valley.
Any suggestions? I’m looking at Crushing Hand and Payback. Which one is more fun to play?

That’s up to personal taste. Do you like smashing things in an area around you, or flinging out feathers in a cone in front of you? Both can be fun in my opinion.

Just to clarify. There are 5 S+ specs

  • Quill Volley (I have it)
  • Crushing Hand
  • Touch of Death (Not interested)
  • Rake
  • Payback
    Asking if someone has an opinion about other 3 on a list.

I’m interested in this myself. I have QV, Evade, LS sorc, working on a minion necro but I’m wondering if I should make a cpCrushing Hands or Touch of Death next.

Correct. All CDs the same. Gear may have slightly different tempering but mythics and uniquest are the same. Only main damage skill is different. But my question is more about play style.

if you want some free boss runs just lmk, happy to carry some ubers for ya.

all SB builds are fun to play because can do Pit 150 in less than 5 mins. also, can one shot any tormented boss.

I loooooove Crushing Hands! It’s nowhere near as fast as the Evade build, but it is remarkably fun. I highly recommend it.

After getting pit 150 done I change my build to the evade one so that I can mindlessly farming xp with pressing only space bar. Still might need a week to paragon 300. After that, I will try other classes builds. Probably necro and bard.

yeah I was going to suggest this too. If you have QV you already have the most powerful end-game crushing build available. Why go for a less powerful second pushing build when you can go for a speed farm build instead?

Havent tried crushing hands but looks like a lot of fun. I played QV for most of the season but recently switched to flash evade build for speed runs. FE is a lot of fun too.

I’m playing crushing hands since the evade fix. It’s fun but not really different from QV so you may get bored quickly.

Rob2628’s the flash build is most fun now.

I have many: Crushing Hand is a beaut, Evade still works very well and I’m having a ball with Rake right now. All of them are more fun than Quill imo

this is not true as there are subpar SB builds that can do not perform as well as other SB builds

I’m having blast with Crushing Hand. Its like crushing blow builds in D2 with charge. So fast for farming. QV not even close by speed.
