Anyone knows what’s the damage multiplier if you are getting hit by mobs x levels over you? Are there any thresholds / limits to it? For example I know the limit for max XP gain for killing enemies over your level caps at +3 levels. I assume in opposite direction there might be none for damage but I would like to the value.
As far as can be told there isn’t one outside of the mob just being a higher or lower level than you.
But it’s something you can easily test in game yourself with the capstone dungeons. Go in, get hit do some hits write some stuff down. Get a level and then do it again.
Everything via google is saying that a lower level player will take more damage and deal less damage to higher level enemies.
I am testing it on Pinnacle boss and I can 100% confirm it is there, but I wanted to know if someone has exact data so I don’t have to dive in.
I can run dungeons against lv 95-100 enemies while I am 80, they hit like truck but managable. I also know I wont have much more armor (if any) since IP is capped at 816 (I think we will get up to 1k in first season) so I know my defenses are not going to get up in next 20 levels, also I know I have more armor than many lv 100 rogues. They can face tank lilith, I am getting one shot by her most basic melee.
I am in no way complaining, I am simply trying to get some data and plan accordingly to know how far I want to push level.
Right now, if I would have to guess I would say when you are 20 levels or more under your armor gets reduced to nothing. But someone might know more.
Basically here is my reason: I enjoyed game immensely, but I don’t want to “hardcore” grind before the seasons. I would like to take ~fair stab at pinnacle tho. If I need lv 90 to not be one/two shoted by melee attack I might take that grind. If I have to be in 3 level range then I will happily leave that for a season.
Some of my offense data, I noticed at 20lv dif my dmg is off by 50-60% but I wasnt sure if that wasnt Lilith specific as it doesnt seems so bad in NMs
