Level 50+ Gear?

At what point/tier do you start to see lvl 50 gear drop? I am 58 on T2 in Dry Steppes (I finished Act III but am working side quests/dungeons/strongholds/etc) and have yet to see any gear 50+ - it’s a bit on the ridiculous side given level scaling….

Move up to WT3. The gear level will change. WT1 and WT2 are designed for level 1-50.

You will also get sacred gear which has more affixes on it and it will boost your power quite significantly. Your gear will be a little under powered at first but you should have enough paragon points to carry you.

If you still haven’t finished the campaign and are only at Dry Steppes than you still have some work to do but with your level you should be blowing anything in WT2 off the map so you can move quickly though the content.

Not with 1) the level scaling and 2) the fact that I pretty much suck as a player due to disability and medications that affect my hand eye coordination, reaction time and memory (I literally have moments when I suddenly forget what my buttons do…) :disappointed:

You can get level 50 gear in WT2 but you need to hit gear breakpoints is how I understand it. So if you’re still wearing level 35 legendary gloves you won’t really see an upgrade for that slot until you have higher item level gear equipped. You should try to push the breakpoints by upgrading your gear to force better gear to drop.

I have been - my gear is all ilvl 45+ with power lvls from 585 to 600+ (working on the ones less than 600 with obols). Highest ilvl I have seen was a 48 and it wasn’t for my class lol

I forget to sometimes after a few cocktails and I go into a frenzied button smashing mode. I always run out of mana(sorc) but I keep smashing my chain- lightning button like I have an endless supply.

I’m reading she plays like I do…

ALL CONTENT cleared before leaving a zone…

SO there is NO moving up to WT3 for us…

Just like she said, I haven’t seen anything over 45 either, even with it all upgraded to max…Last bow the Occultist “sold” me was a 41 pos that even a noob wouldn’t use…

So the slog goes on, bit by bit, maybe someday I’ll get gear for Level 56+

At some point your paragon points will put level WT2 by a significant margin and the gear won’t matter anyway as you will one shot almost everything. Yes the enemies will still scale, but they do t have extra resistances found on WT3.

Once you’ve unlocked a few +5% and +10% to all damage nodes in the paragon board you will see.

Interesting… I’m playing Barbarian on Normal difficulty. Lvl 51 with 8ish paragon. Still takes me 5-10 minutes to down a boss, 2+min per elite, and even normal trash requires cooldowns or spenders that I can only use 1-3 of before becoming rage starved. Basic attacks are wet noodles that do no significant damage and really only build rage for me.
Survivability is only OK. Not terribly worried about dying at most times and infrequently use potions.
What am I missing?

For my Druid solving the resource problem came later in paragon so I had to solve it through passives in the skill tree.

As for power gain 8 points out of a possible 228 is just a start. When you get closer to 60 assuming you also complete the Lilith altars and renown you will have around 60-65 to play with which will get you deep into your second board and possibly into your 3rd decoding how you path through them.

Don’t ignore secondary requirements for bonuses to the rate nodes either as they will literally double the top line bonus once met. For mine by increasing INT along the path of my boards my +10% damage node la increased to +20% on two nodes inside my starter board for a total of +40% to all damage. That took me 17 paragon points to unlock both nodes plus roughly another 10 nodes of pathing through my next board to cross the secondary requirement.

That’s the trick with paragon, it’s a bit more nuanced than dropping points into nodes. There is planning involved to get the most out of it.

AH! I had not considered additional points from nodes etc.!
Thanks!
