Leveling glyphs to 100 should be an activity that players are willing to put time and effort in. Getting an extra 5-10% to the legendary multiplier is kind of meaningless, especially in pit tier 95+.
Instead of an increase to a legendary damage multiplier, I would love to see something different.
Yea I agree. On the PTR the legendary bonus was a lot better they should revert it back to that.
Right now leveling your glyphs doesn’t seem to have much impact. On my barb my glyphs are around 83ish I feel like if all your glyphs are 83 going to 84 should be felt but it just isn’t. And it’s certainly not enough to get you to the next pit level to continue leveling them.
What if you switch focus to min/maxing your gear? Could that get you over the hump?
I see that differently. I want min/maxing to mean something.

Getting glyphs from 83 to 100 is not even doing much to progress in tier(in my experience as a Companion Druid). When glyph scaling improves, then another question rises: Why do I want to do these higher Pits?
Nope, my gear is the highest end stuff (all ancestral, but not all 4 ga, best mythics and uniques) and all basically perfectly masterworked. My glyphs are all level 82 and 83. I’m struggling to even finish level 80 pits in time. I breeze through Torment 4 Hordes but level 80 pits are a complete slog.
I did 5 level 80 pits yesterday which took me an hour because it takes me almost the entire timer to finish them. I did 18 40% chance upgrade attempts (lost a couple to deaths) on the same level 82 glyph. All 18 upgrade attempts failed. I’m obviously having really bad luck but this shouldn’t be luck based to begin with, it’s a really poorly designed system.
The stupid one shot mechanics during the bosses make it worse too because I’m having to spend 5 to 7 minutes of extreme focus and repeatedly jumping around to avoid all of the red attacks. The amount of focus required is exhausting to not even have a guaranteed chance of making any progress.
I wish they would just do away with this nonsense of having glyph upgrades gated behind dungeons and just make it an XP based thing where we gain upgrades over the course of normal gameplay that we can then apply to glyphs of our choosing. Doing pits over and over when they are this difficult to complete at higher levels for a random chance to upgrade a glyph isn’t fun.
I initially thought this move to pits would be a good thing because of how tedious and boring nightmare dungeons are, but with the current scaling where you can barely finish a level 80 pit with level 82 to 83 glyphs it’s just bad. The concept of natural progression just completely falls apart when you get to the 80s, unless you’re playing the bugged spiritborn build or you’re a streamer buying all 4 GA gear off trade sites and perfectly masterworking it. Even then I’ve seen streamers with perfect everything failing to complete level 100 pits.
The glyph power scaling and the pit scaling don’t line up at all. Maybe if we had another radius increase on glyphs around level 75 it would help to get us over this hump. I found it odd that the last radius increase is at such a low level and then you get nothing after that, so all of your extra paragon points that you’re getting aren’t having much of an impact after that.
Five extra of a stat on paragon does basically nothing and once you already have all of the glyph areas maxed and damage nodes selected (like I do) you’re just completely maxed out without further glyph upgrades which currently only offer very small gains. After like level 250 paragon I don’t see the point of getting more paragon board points right now because they are doing essentially nothing for my damage.
The team at Blizzard which is responsible for designing these systems needs to stop copying garbage systems from Diablo 3 and come up with fresh well thought out ones. They also need to stop listening to the streamers so much when designing stuff. Just because some streamers like pushing pits day in day out doesn’t mean that the rest of the player base does.
Let’s be honest here. The season 6 is not free and costs at least $40. Sure you can still struggle with a class other than SB but literally everything is locked behind the paywall. All leveling content and even mythics are pay walled. Runes, undercity, citadel, mercenaries, reinforcements, and even crafting mythics via sparks cannot be done without the paywall. Having the ability to only craft random mythics made it obvious and there was zero point of locking mythics behind runes.
I have played three classes (Spiritborn, Rogue and Sorc) so far in the season and all three are capable of clearing pit 90+. My Rogue is DoK build and my Sorc is LS build.
I play solo so I don’t group with other players to level up glyphs on my Rogue and Sorc.
Are you getting 5-10% legendary multiplier last season when level from Glyph 15 to 21? Just another thread complaint about none issue.
Give you a huge bonus from leveling glyph it just force everyone to lvl them to 100. The dev intention is not to pigeon hole you on certain activities or build.
Congratulations. Your character is finished. You can farm T4. They didn’t give significant power for continuing to level glyphs because it’s not necessary right now. Glyph 100 and paragon 300 are for people who finished their character and really want to keep grinding instead of starting a new one or playing a different game.
