Let's be honest: Sorc is still lackluster compared to rogue

Quite frankly I enjoy hydra / blizzard playstyle the most.

I feel like a true sorcerer, summoning otherworldly creatures and altering weather like a bad bum

Αctually although that is the best build for sorc this season, i can’t say that i enjoy it. Just mashing the buttons like a robot, i don’t even need to look at the screen, just to press them when they are off cooldown. That gameplay and the milliard of effects in the screen causes me to feel dizzy very quickly.

So op yes - enjoyable not at all. I hope they change something about it in the next seasons. I enjoyed much more necro minions and barb the previous seasons to be honest even with less power.

I’m a long time Sorc player, but for some reason I am enjoying my Barb better because it has to gear up really well in order to do damage, and I have to use more brain cells too. My LS Sorc barely just need a Shako and can destroy T8 which I feel does not make sense, but hey it’s good for farming. I believe my LS Sorc can even do it without a Shako. What also does not make sense is I have Firewall Sorc and no matter how much I gear it up, it can’t do T8. I’m more into if I invest more time and more gear, it should do more. So far Barb fits that bill.

I also like my 100K Blood Surge Necro. Kinda different way of tackling T8.

This is the crux of the matter for Barbs. I’ve got a Shako (only mythic so far) and I’m not doing T8. T7 is a slog, especially the bosses. It’s a Meta build that “does well” if you’re tricked out with the 4 mythics, 12/12, and 2-3GA in every slot.

Unfortunately that’s true. On the other hand, it’s also frustrating when you have all the gear but the build still fails to perform because Blizzard didn’t do their homework (speaking of my Firewall Sorc).

My sorc got a double mythic drop over the weekend, it was an Andy visage and doombringer. So I made an Andy rogue. I think this is number two for sure. Pretty much the only build that is even close to LS sorc.

So even in this season, as long as there is a class whose best builds are not that far away from those of the Sorcs, Sorc main will cry that the Sorc is so bad and the others so OP.

I play yet a variant of Mekunas CL Build and he is strong and crazy fun.
i killed uber lilith with level 97 with this build, to be fair i had andariel but no starless skies and tyrael.
What is your problem?
That some snowflake build can’t keep up with meta builds of other classes?

Sorc are in an excellent state this season. Next season you can cry because every class will as far away from spiritborn as this season other classes from sorc.

And of course I also have an LS build, but outside the hordes it’s only half as much fun as the CL build.
