I’m disappointed I’m not/wasn’t given a choice at the beginning to willingly follow Lilith. I’d battle against those angels all day long.

I’m surprised our MQ Storyline didn’t branch depending upon our Q path chosen where we could align with one or the other:
Inarius 
Lilith
Maybe it does, who knows.
Possible missed opportunity though if not.
Maybe it’s not so linear as previous titles.
Maybe we’re all 1 big happy family in the end because we’ve been manipulated all along.
We shall see!

Lilith has a “complicated history”. In Mesopotamian and Hebrew mythology, she was the first wife of Adam.
She rejected him, and so was demonized. No doubt as a cautionary tale for women who reject their husbands.
I’m good with that, as opposed to aligning with Inarius. But if Tyrael shows up, I’d prefer to align with him instead.

Honestly I find this absurd. It was Innarius that pretty much lobotomized and weakened mankind. It was angel that condemned humans to eternal suffering, illnesses and weakness. Just because he was too afraid of them, his own children.
Lilith came to fix it, empower us. Yes, she might want something in return, an ally. That’s 100% fair and square deal for me. Helping angels is helping your own oppressor and tyrant. Team Lilith. I kinda expect that this will actually become choice and new class is going to be a cultist.

Right? If you listen to dialogs, if you watch what’s happening to world it’s clear. If we assume that Lilith isn’t 100% lying (and at this point I am not sure why she would be) then she is clear choice to support. Unless you want mankind to live under boot of church and “light” that apart from, again, weakening it to pitiful state, wanted to erradicate it on MULTIPLE occassions.
Sanctuary needs to be independent power to be reckoned with, salvation wont come from hand of angels, they bring suffering, same as prime evils. Lilith seems to be offering sanctuary tools that will let it stand on its own. No more battlefield for others but prospering fortress. “Light” has much stronger foothold in Sanctuary than demons. Lilith freeing us and making us independent is leveling playfield. And she knows that all humans need is to realize what angels done to us.

Tyrael always striked me as a child that always wants to do “good” without considering bigger picture. He is being of great gestures, willing to rush into action. He is not bad for humanity and on occasion he was paramount to preserving it, however I don’t think he is what can ultimately lead mankind to better days because I don’t think he can ever get behind Lilith’s plan of restoring mankind to their former power. He will get afraid and chicken out at earliest opportunity trying to find some gray zone of misery.

Tyrael represents Justice, not choosing sides. While he sided with mortals, it was not to “restore power”, which we never had in the Diablo series. Perhaps our toons did in D3, where we we were nephalem, offspring of both angel and demon.

All humans are, however they were weakened to current pitiful state by Inarius design over generations. He is the oppressor. Justice is getting it back.

I think the problem with Lilith is that while she probably does have good intentions, she only knows one way to implement them.
