Legit question: where do you trade?

Where do you trade your items? In-game there is nothing, so on what website do you have to be to trade items?
Can we get back AH?

It’s on some Discord. Sadly I can’t tell you which, cause I play SSF anyway.
But with all those random bans still going on for trading, I would rather stay away from it for the time being.
If you missed it, there was a gold and item dupe going on, so chances are high you might get some of that “bad” gold and you can kiss your account good bye for a while at the bare minimum.

Well because they have to load everyone’s stash all the time, you do not trade.

Also, from what I remember, you can’t trade the good stuff… the stuff that people would actually want to trade…

The real question for Blizzard here is : How long can I trade ?

You can trade perfectly rolled yellows, which are more valuable than anything except arguably Uber Uniques.

I give them to NPC’s and they give me gold…

You trade them on the WTB/WTS channels on Sanctuary Discord Server

Only 3/4 or 4/4 items will sell.

Weapons under 800IP are unlikely to sell.

Have they enabled trade again? Last I checked they disabled it.

So Discord only? And if you dont have Discord just sell all to vendor?
If they copy paste the stash from d3 Why cant they copy paste the ah?

Legit question as well, did blizzard endorse or advertise the trading discord? May have slipped me.

They reenabled it a while ago, you can easily trade now but do so at your own risk.

They have not endorsed the unofficial trade discord which is different then the official Diablo 4 discord. But you can still run into RMT on both, so just be careful who you trade with, how often, and the amount of gold being traded.

Thanks for the info. I thought I didn’t read it on an article or game description so I missed it. Not planning on doing trades though. I’m quite happy getting my own stuff.

Yea my full stash and dreams of earning some gold…dashed by 3rd party only trade options(which I honestly cannot stand nor do I understand), silly exploiters and ‘who knows if 5mil or 5bil gold will get me banned’ policy.
rip perf 2, good3/4 & near perf 3/4 pieces I’ll never use.
May the vendors use them wisely.

Why is there no simple post-and-go trading house?
10 item limit.
X Gold cap.
Doesn’t sell? Vendor or relist lower…

“But teh RMT!!?!”
Yes it’s rampant presently. Indeed.

News Flash - In house Trading Platform with Gold cap = Blizz can EASILY monitor “excessive gold trades or fishy practices”.
It’s a start.
2023 Blizz - get with it.

I think Blizzard enabled some trade chat in the game? I don’t use it, I play SSF, but maybe that helps.

I don’t, and I have no desire to.

Every item on my character was found by me, and that’s the way I like it.

same thing for me and the friends i play with.
since D2.

The backlash from d3 AH was probably too huge for them to explore it again - when the issue was really RMAH as opposed to the gold-based one.

That’s exactly the reason. The RMAH part was the issue for the biggest outcry and the big share Blizz was taking from it. Obviously due to the fact, that no1 was selling good things in the Gold AH obviously.
On the other hand I made around 1500€ from it and moved on to other games right after, never looking back, until RoS was about to release to give the game another try

But yeah, no1 would complain about a normal AH with Gold being the only currency for it. Considering the main hubs are the cities, a broker would fit in quite well.
