I have now killed many pinnacle bosses. The drop rate is ridiculously low and the price for buying them is stupid high. How does anyone do that without resorting to RMT? What good does having the sparks do you when you can’t get the runes to craft anything?

To keep playing and maybe, hopefully, 2 days before the end of the season you will be able to craft your 1st mythic. Isn’t that the point of a seasonal game anyway?

Ive found about a dozen from drops. Got about another 10 from converting magic and rare runes.
They are rarer then mythics. I needed 2 EOM runes, just bout them 50 mil each. Gold is ridiculous this season. Just ask trade chat.
Sorry but those prices are just not there anymore. The cheapest bac rune on the trade sight is 450 million

Nah need Bac Eom Jah. I know I certainly got them easier last season. They gave us back the spark the end of the rep grind again but then lowered the drop rate on the legendary runes with a sledgehammer in typical blizzard style. Why the hell can’t they ever do anything in a gradual manner? Except ofc when they are buffing things like sorc skills. For that they use a micrometer

Also make sure you are converting lesser runes. Keep in mind when S6 cane out they said they wanted runes to hold value which could be why they were lowered.

You must be absolutely no-lifing the game. I’m at Paragon 225 and just about done with the season and I’ve found 5 legendary runes in total from boss drops / upgrading rare runes.
Crafting mythics this season is simply not realistic for 99% of people.

Naw, at paragon 230 I think. Pretty casual.
I found my chest, crafted my shako. Needed to trade for some runes cause didnt have enough EOM.
D2 fanboys wanted runewords, and we got them.
Not what D4 calls runewords, but the actual process of grind + craft + trade runes until you’re exhausted, then make the unique (in this case, mythic) you want and hope none of the stats roll low (that you get the GA you want.)
Sometimes the past should be left in the past.

So approximately 100 boss runs this morning. Zero mythics and 3 leg runes none of which are for the desirable mythics. This is just not good enough Blizzard

Same issue here. It is simply impossible to do this SSF.
The silly thing about it is that any player would have multiple of the needed Ubers before they come even close to getting the runes to craft them.

It’s definitely not impossible. You can run bosses for runes and undercity for runes and build up a large supply quickly, but the rune “crafting” being random is frustrating as heck.
It definitely seems more aimed towards eternal than seasonal, though.
Again, you can point your finger at the subset of D2 players, and the devs agreeing with them, that think value is derived from massive, random time sinks.

Cheapest legendary I saw was lith and they go for 100 mil.
In general they are around 300-400mil a piece, some rare ones(like igni) go around 700-800.
There is absolutely no way you are buying 5-6 runes unless you are selling items on the market have billions of gold.
As for the topic, yes they aren’t dropping. I got one vex so far and 2 igni which required my rogue and barb to come online. My friend was looking for JAH and neither of us got it so far.
I have only 2 BAC and I need 4 more to craft the shroud. I absolutely have no idea how I’m going to get those.
I’ve tried tribute farming, did like 50-60 runs without getting any of the legendaries I was looking for. They should double the legendary drop chances and they’ll still be pretty rare.

Well I guess not impossible, but not within a realistic timeframe.
I am paragon 215, do reroll runes and have; 3,2,1,1,1 legendary runes.
I am a D2 player and don’t mind rarity, if it is in line with the other content.
My point is you will get the Ubers as drops way before the runes, so what is the purpose…
You’re not wrong. I have 25+ blue Moni and other runes… legendaries I have 1-2 of Lith, Eom, Bac… etc…
Bac I’ve seen guys spamming trade for the low price of 1B. Glad I only need 6.

just throwing that bit out here (i’d guess there’s people who forget they can craft the gems they need if they have the ones needed wich are probably a tier lower then legendary and have a bunch just sitting in their stash)
