Legendary item problem solution or is that a problem for you?

Hi,

Most people last weekend after farming for 2-3 hours get their total legendary items and thought it was accessible in level 25 people were downed due to how accessible “legendary” items are.

So what is the problem? The short answer is the word legendary itself. Because most of the loot-focused game color orange or legendary means one of the best items you can find in a game and that’s an upgrade for you. But in D4 legendary items do not mean the best item for you but a rare item with max affixes and one special affix that customize your skill or adds a new passive for you.

So oranges, not the oranges that we used but like in Diablo 3 just a legendary that might be ancient so better than regular legendary items which are bad taste in my opinion because it devalues the word legendary. That’s what I think if I take it as a problem as I said. But I don’t want to just say " Blizzard sucks showering legendaries boo " etc. I want to be constructive and solve the problem that I had.

So maybe if there was a mid-tier level for the items with those special affixes people would be okay with it like call it epic and make it purple. Would you still bother if the item shines purple and shows you that it’s a possible good item you might want to check it? I think that perspective change towards to player adds values to other orange rarity items ( sacred and ancestral) and when a person sees an orange item that loot dopamine hits the person but of course, we do not know those items glow differently than other regular legendaries but if the itemization on legendaries are mid-tier and there are 2 upper tiers why not change the color and name for it.

But in the end, it won’t matter if it’s pink, orange, etc. if you are a min maxer you would still get the item and check if the base is nice to keep or not. So if you have a problem with legendary items is this your problem or if you have no problem with it please also tell your reasons so you might change people’s perspective. Other than that have fun this weekend.

I agree, people is reading far too much into the word legendary and conflating them with actual uniques. Make them purple and call them epic instead.
