A list of all the useless affixes I can think of and what they should change to.
Impairment Reduction Unstoppable Cooldown (reduce CD of skills with unstoppable in text)
Resource on Kill Resource Generation on kill. Lasts 3 seconds.
Life per second Big increases to mean something
life on hit Now increases as max health goes up
Healing Received % Elixir / Potion Duration and effect
Resistances on gloves and amulets and weapons removed. Nobody wants these as affixes on offensive gears.
Resistance on any sorc/necro item removed. WE never need this with INT main stat.
Sorcs lose ability to use maces and gain ability to use 2H swords. Maces are overpower builds. Sorcs never do that. Makes more sense we can use 2H swords since we can use 1H swords.
The proposed versions feel about as useless as their originals and I would still avoid most of them.
The only one of real value would be the unstoppable CDR, and that just feels a little messy and out of place. I’m on the fence with that one.
I agree that you don’t want those resistances etc but, there has to be some bad stats right? It’s already pretty easy to gear, if you remove all the undesirable stats then basically everything that drops is good. For me that would honestly make the game less fun as it’s effectively a guaranteed result now.
Again % of max life per second, but honestly I would rather see this removed entirely.
See above.
Get rid of entirely. Ratty has shown me the light of a Barb build that uses this, so it gets a pass for now.
I agree with this. Not needed, especially on amulets that already have 30+ affixes to comb through.
Don’t know about the sorc thing, but maces didn’t make a whole lot of sense. 2 handed swords weigh a lot more then regular swords or staffs, not sure your scrawny little sorc arms can carry them.
Then again Necros wield around giant weapons, so sure why not.
This is actually used by death blow barb build currently. Just throwing that out there that it does have SOME use case, and is something that could have future synergy potential with other builds.
Basically, I think it has more potential than the other stats on the useless list.
Now you have me curious, does it have some kind of interaction with the build aside from keeping the barb alive easier? You’ll have to excuse my ignorance of Barb builds I mostly play Necro.
Yeah it’s actually a pretty fun and neat feedback loop interaction.
Involving barb passive that heals you for fury spent and starlight aspect that generates resource for life healed. It essentially becomes resource gen.
Because of this I actually sold a GA healing received / GA strength chest for 500m, had a lot of offers for it too.
