Left clicking whisper/quest objective erases map pin

As of the latest hotfix (8/13/2024) there appears to be an issue wherein if you have an existing map pin and left click any quest or whisper objective, it now erases the map pin entirely. It works as expected if you select/highlight an objective first and then create the map pin, but not the other way around. This makes doing whispers that have a radius on the map frustrating because if you already have a map pin present to say, the Harvest whisper and you highlight any whisper at all, your pin is erased.

Left clicking shouldn’t be doing anything to an existing map pin, but as of 8/13/2024 it now erases them.

OMG. This annoys my so much this I’ve decides to complain on a forum for the first time in my life. For the love of god, please tell me it wasn’t intended to be this way.

Prior to the 1.5.1 patch it wasn’t. Now it is. You’ll also notice that the pin lines blink in and out frequently as you move, especially when leaving towns. Somehow they broke the entire pin system with the party pin additions.
