Learning From Spiritborn Class Design

The Spiritborns skill tree is superb because of the numerous tag manipulations they have access to, allowing the class to employ multipliers and really flush out any play style. It’s hard to make a build that isn’t viable with all the options.

I’d like to see the same design read across to new aspects for the Necromancer, and discuss the possible options. Specifically I would love to see the non-shadow DOT version of corpse explosion have a way to gain both CORE (and cost essence) and BLOOD tags to its damage! The shadow DOT version gains the DARKNESS tag so it’s not outside the design space nor a unique trait of the SB class.

I propose this change is added to the “Aspect of the Enbalmer”, which makes consuming corpses spawn blood orbs.

What if minions could earn the BONE tag?
What if the Golems got BONE, BLOOD, or MACABRE tags based on the one you selected?

Any other ways that tags could be added in necro to make for good design?
