Been enjoying a Leapquake build since the start of the game, I know it’s not the most powerful, but with appropriate CDR I have been able to fly around the screen, and thought with changes to Giant Strides it would be even better with being able to leap multiple times consecutively vs bosses
However, with the new update, there is a huge pause between leaps despite the instant reset in cooldown with appropriate CDR and Giant Strides…are others experiencing this?

Yea i have the same issue with the delay. The bigger issue for me is when leap isnt reset despite jumping into a big pack. I havent had issues on single boss leap reset though.
I read somewhere that if your leap kills the entire mob it bugs and doesn’t reset the cooldown.

This seems true as well…but even when I see the cooldown reset I cannot leap immediately as in the past because I get stuck in the “landing” animation
does the leap hitting mobs lower its cooldown aspect actually exist? or is it a fable?
I have the sam issue. I seem to be stuck in animation after landing, even if my CD resets. Sometimes I jump twice in fast succession, but that seems rare.
Quite often I leap doesn´t resent even when you land into a large pack. As if mobs die to EQ before my leap triggers and it doesn´t get reset.
All in all it is very frustrating.
Can definitely Leap again very quickly if you move slightly from where you landed to “cancel” the recovery frames on the animation. Otherwise, trying to spam the same place, on say a stationary boss, will just result in frustration since your character just stands still for nearly a second before you Leap again.
Is Blizzard even aware of this bug? Buffing EQ legendaries etc, but this seems like it hasn´t been even tested.
They tested on target dummies, it works, move on to other work.
The bug is weird. If Leap hits monster without killing them, the aspect procs. If the monsters dies, no reset. Enhanced Leap doesn’t proc either. Seems like coding has exempt rule but why bother?
I have this issue as well. Really sucks for the Gauntlet.
