Latency in Game

I’m gonna farm this one out to the community, what is everyone seeing as their average latency in game? You can check by clicking ctrl + R twice to display in the bottom left.

I have seen mine as high as 370 so far and seems to hover in the 100s on avg. I’m trying to figure out if this is what is causing all my rubber banding. Let me know, thanks

4615m and i have died 3 times because I cannot move.

its at 80 right now…but to be fair, i have google fiber and live about 5 minutes from blizz hq in irvine (probably not where their servers are located tho)

after resetting the router is has gone down to 100. so I guess I will be resetting it more often.

Game runs normally between 40-100 ms. But what happens WAY to often is ping jumps to 300-800 ms way to often. Its definitely not my end as I have my son playing games like Valorant and if his ping spiked like mine does in Diablo he would say something about it.

Its a Blizzard server issue but I notice it happens more on PC than on Xbox where many of my friends play from.

Edit:
For reference when I play CS:GO or BF2042 this never happens and ping is normally around 20.

I have feeling its on my end. My router is at least 8 years old or more. So far the router ping test I have running is averaging about 20ms which should only be about 1ms. However this could be the software. Running ping in cmd on repeat gives mostly 1ms but there are a few 5s and 10s in there. Still want to confirm if my router is the main issue.

So we checked a few things make sure you have nothing running in the background. This made it better for a little bit I was able to play for about 15 minutes then it jumped back up to 2500 to 3800. When we check the latency of our router it is 100 to 200ms so I will say it is a blizzard issue and yes it happens more on PC. I was told that blizzard was in bed with NVIDIA they are looking to sell 4090 cards. I have a 3070 and it works fine on all other games except D4. I have been a loyal customer of Blizzard since 2004 and this is the way we get treated.

Average 90-130 ms (extremely high compared to ~20 ms in OW2).

Spikes to 1-3k occasionally in NMDs.

Nothing to see here, typical billion dollar indie developer that can’t set up network infrastructure right.
