100% this. Like, fine if they dont want to offer ps4 / older system support any more. But don’t sell the product on that system if thats going to be the case.
Its sad they havent even acknowledged it. Blizz has always been Blizz, but at least they used to have a decent level of respect and communication with the community.
This and the last update were just horrible. The game is unplayable on PS4 Pro.

Unplayable since the goblin drop. Frame drop, character walks backwards, effects going off 20 yards away from character location, lagging in town, opening map freezes, and glitching throw walls/ground.
The horse was bad enough, we couldnt even sprint without taking a risk of randomly dying, now we cant even walk around anywhere.
This game is incompatible with ps4 now. This is the worst season of all.
Pit loading screens went from a few seconds to over a min now between floors. Party memebers complete the pit well its still loading the second floor.
Mine is unplayable also i did everything turned off cross play and went to eternal still the same. Im guessing most of us console players are just gonna miss out on this event … i have played other goblin events. I was told by a gm to come here so hope this works id kinda like to go get some of that loot before the event is over. We do all spend money to play just saying.

its a jke this game how do we actually get our money back for the expansion i bought since games always reset or broken cant even move on map becuase of lag and my internet speed is 427mbs hot fix when hasnt happened in uk ???
This lag is terrible. Im about out, its actual unplayable. It was great on PS 4 until Vessel, then the game has lagged so much.
I couldnt even enjoy the expansion because it was that bad, but i dealt with it and done expansion but dont go back because it was just so laggy. Now the game is that bad in the towns its just not fun at all.
I see they update the shop a bit,im sitting with 3k Plat or whatever there called and im not using them just too look at my new outfit or horse through LAGG.
Its my fault for buying a blizzard game called diablo 4 with no diablo in it. This game has been broken since day 1 launch.
And still not a single reply acknowledging the problem… they simply don’t care i guess.

This is beyond unacceptable. I keep replying to my Blizzard case, demanding action, and still no reply or public communication. A hotfix is needed NOW. The game is completely unplayable on PS4.
We pay the same amount of money for this game as everyone else, and Blizzard just takes it and gives us product that won’t work on our consoles. I would rather they never sold it for ps4.
I was honestly so close to finishing season of the witch and getting a second mythic, the start of this event I had planned with my play group, all PS4, all unplayable levels of lag. This is what I was looking forward to in my life. I work and work and work and work and work and work and work and then get home and spend that little bit of money I get to save after bills on a game that’s only extra payables are cosmetics? Awesome right? Lol jk psych update right when I thought I was going to finish any battle pass ever in a video game. I honestly don’t even get enjoyment out of this anymore because of how companies handle every single launch, update, dlc, battle pass, pay to play event, basically if it has to do with a video game a company now is just absolutely messing it up and charging more and more for worse and worse products. Psn down now Diablo just said forget you? I don’t want my loot extended, a little “catch up” for PS4 player none of that crap. I bought the game to play the game and I just downright can’t. Call it false advertisement, trash developers, a bad update, it’s all excuses. Head bosses is making over 100 million you can deliver a product that at least functions like it did before your update. I dont even want the goblins anymore just undo the update let me finish my damn season. Sucks cause it’s like… Ik this won’t be fixed in time and then reconciliation is just gonna be “oops so sad womp womp”.
I am also playing on ps4, the amount of lag im facing is unreal. Its so bad I cant even begin to explain how bad it is. In my 20 years of gaming, I have never seen anyting lag even half this bad. Everything was fine before the goblin patch.
My network is very stable, I can play any other game on all my platforms without any network issues. Im 100% sure the issue is with blizzard here. I’ve been playing the diablo franchise for as long as I can remember and I have never had a similar issue. You guys need to fix this yesterday!
I went out and bought a new ps4 thinking because mine was old it couldn’t handle all the new stuff. Guess I should have googled it first. How will we know when it is fixed?
Since the Goblin update the game is unplayable on PS4. So much lag that when I can finally see my character it looks like it’s drifting across the screen. Thankfully I’m pretty boosted up that I pretty much never die and rarely need to heal, but it’s boring AF to just blindly mash buttons and wait for your character to drift across the screen.
You’d think Blizzard would give a sh!t about the ppl who bought the game and expansion, especially since the game was originally designed for the PS4. Just sayin’
yes i don’t like waiting 20 sec to see if i killed them all. Plus I have not seen any of the new goblins…

There’s still absolutely no excuse for this and this couldn’t have been handled worse if they tried. And no mention if they are going to extend the botched goblin event, considering it has been entirely unplayable. But this better fix the problem!
what about restarting the goblin event??
