Same with normal bosses, I’m not sure why blizzard thought max level characters that are doing this end game content would ever wear anything under 925, but it’s blizzard lol
How about a 2nd Tier of bosses between the normal ones we have now and the tormented versions?
These bosses would require 1 Stygian Stone, Double the summoning materials from their original versions, drop 3x the amount of loot, and it’ll always be 925s. The bosses levels can range from 135 to 150 (or just all 150) depending on which boss it is.
Gives you something to farm while you climb that ladder to take on the tormented versions with guaranteed 925s from all bosses.
Ladder bosses should just scale to 100 with you, so you can actually target farm useable uniques, as intended.
The other problem is that if you force the boss to be lvl200 by spending extra mats(for tormented version), so you can farm ilvl925 uniques, you only get 1 ladder material, instead of 3 or 5.
We should fix ladder Uber bosses to scale up to 100 AND have the tormented versions correctly drop 3-5 of the material drops (instead of 1).
Note:
I’ve also noticed that in party play, only the summoning player gets materials, not sure if it’s a bug or not.
This is not a bug. Only the person who used their materials to summon a boss would get the subsequent summoning materials for the next boss. Any free loaders will not get these materials but will get loot. So if you’re in a group it’s best to do a round robin so to speak, or as people call it a rotation or rota group.
