Lack of randomness in crafting

It seems that when tempering often you get the same stat with different numbers. It needs to be more random and different affixes from the same group more often. If I can get the same affix 3 or 4 times in a row all the time, this is NOT random.

Yeah. 4 choices, same result 3 or 4x in a row is obviously not random. Happens all the time.

Ya, the tempering is really weird. I had three items so far and got every time the same stat, used scroll and got the same stat again. This ain’t fun.

Agree, there is absolutely weighting of certain tempers. I would like Blizzard to be more forthcoming about this issue. As a community, we’ve been bringing this up since Season 4–and no answer from Blizzard.

It is really obvious with the mobility temper.

You are much less likely to get the flat movement speed than movement speed on killing an elite or lowered mobility skill cooldown.

They’re all that way. The generally most desirable affixes are the least likely do be rolled. Hmmm. Must be indeed random! There are certain builds where the “generally” doesn’t apply so I’m happy it’s this way sometimes. At least there’s that.

And they won’t. They don’t need to though. We can all see that it’s true. No amount of probability math can explain how a 1 out of 3 roll keeps coming up with a two 4x in a row.

I leave and come back later. Different gear, different character, different temper selected. Again! 4 or even 5x in a row, same sh!tty stat… “life per 5 seconds” hahaha!

Just thought of a name for this particular peculiarity… “algo-random”

On another thread on this issue someone mentioned that Diablo 3 had an issue that would cause its RNG to repeat. I think Diablo 4 is suffering from something similar.
