I ordered the sandwich from the app that clearly said it was a Diablo 4 promotion for in game items. But it didn’t come in the D4 bag and I don’t have a QR code, will something be emailed to me?

That’s what happened at the open beta as long as your battlenet email is what you used to create your online account/app.
It takes about an hour, so don’t panic. (I did :P)

KFC has apparently dropped the ball on their own promotion, and I don’t think their website is updated correctly yet, employees aren’t in the know, and maybe the app isn’t working correctly yet either.
The QR code, I think basically is just supposed to take you to a page on their website that isn’t up yet. And let you link your account to battlenet to get the first item, I don’t think you’ll even technically need the code. Then you’ll have to do something else with buying the sandwiches to unlock the rest of them. But I don’t think it’s quite working yet.

Lol they didn’t drop the ball. The promo doesn’t start until tomorrow for linked accounts. Today was just the start of the Diablo 4 promo. People just don’t know how to read…

Can’t figure out how to link it as well.
I think you need to wait until tomorrow for that to go live apparently. From your Account Settings here on the website you would link the two.

I honestly don’t know anything about account linking besides where the article is. I don’t have my Bnet linked to anything.

I realize I am odd but I don’t like having anything linked. If something happens to one I worry about the risk to others.
I have not had cable/TV/streaming since 2001. I don’t do phone apps or even browse on my phone. I have a dumb house without any internet connected appliances or utilities.
I like paper books. I have hundreds.
Heh. I am terrible to ask about most modern tech, to be honest. I am mostly good at navigating Blizzard’s support system and articles.

Is the promo even up yet? I downloaded the app and made and account but don’t see anything.
Sort of. You can get a sandwich today with the wrapper and code, but it does not seem the websites are set up to scan and use the code to link the Bnet account?
The replies here on the forums from folks trying it out seem to indicate that sometime tomorrow is more likely to have things working.
Can I order any sandwich? I’m super confused. There is like nothing on the app that suggests there is even a promo going on.

Yep, the website menu started showing banners above the qualifying sandwiches this afternoon.
Just keep your wrapper until you can get the accounts linked and the promo working.
when you order a sandwich did it said d4 promo in the banner? if so what sandwhich did you order. also no you won’t be emailed anything your suppose get the qr code and then you link your account then and then your future purchases link to the appropriate account.
IDK i havent seen anything about this from an actual KFC site. I think its a troll post that caught on and is taking the forums by storm.
