Keyboard and mouse randomly stop working when using controller Diablo 4

I am having some issues when trying to use both my keyboard and mouse and controller to play.

My controller is an xbox controller and it is connected via a bluetooth wireless dongle.

My keyboard is a logitech G910.

The controller works fine however, when I want to switch to mouse and keyboard to type a message it does not register the keyboard/mouse input.

I have found some previous threads wherein people suggested turning off the In-Game overlay in Nvidia GeForce experience however this did not resolve my issue. I have also restarted my computer several times, I have completely uninstalled GeForce Experience, I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for my keyboard.

This is incredibly frustrating. Does anybody know of a fix?

I have the exact same issue that just started happening now. Did you ever find a resolution to this?

11 months later I have the same issue in S4, switching back and forth between keyboard/mouse and controller (xbox) is blocked very often, meaning that keyboard/mouse input is not recognized (controller input works all the time).
I use keyboard/mouse for UI actions like inventory management, skill/paragon tree, and so on. Please fix or let us know if there is a workaround.

also having this issue, I’ve been swapping since coming back about a week or so ago and now just because I have no way to use both. I use controller and keyboard for management stuff as well.
