Keybinds *sigh*

I have a logitech g502 Hero. 2 days ago I was able to get my keybinds to work but today they dont work. I can get two of my side buttons to keybind, which come up as M4 and M5. No other buttons can be bound other than R/L buttons.

I saw a few threads with people saying to turn off GE Overlay and I have. This has not fixed the issue. I saw someone else say to turn off DLSS for some reason, that also did not work.

I’ve updated drivers as well.

wtf?

SOunds like you need Technical Support.

Lets be real here tech support is not going to offer any assistance on this. Their support is going to be limited to “Does the base game work? Then that is out of scope for us”.

@OP, the best workaround that I can suggest for you is to setup some AHK scripts. Use a AHK Spy script to figure out what your mouse is sending when you hit the extra buttons.

Then setup an AHK script to capture those inputs and send them as a regular keyboard input.

You can set it up so it only works when D4 is your focus window.

Except you have other users there that deal with nothing but tech help. It’s not just Blues responding, you know.

My bad, did not know that it was a forum link. Thought it was just the “Contact Blizzard” page.

Also, be careful telling people to use scripting programs. Technically against ToS unless they’re baked into the game like WoW.

This.

Also, I’m not very willing to do crazy in depth work arounds just to get keybinds to work. I’ll happily let this game sit until its fixed before I get into scripting.

Sounds like maybe I’ll just have to wait to see if it gets fixed through an update, though I wont hold my breath. GW2 gives me a similar issue and has never been resolved. It’s a shame that a $70 game has keybinding problems.

Just use your mouse software to rebind the keys. Instead of them being “m4”, make them emulate… I dunno, the = symbol. The game will easily detect that and won’t even know it’s coming from a mouse, problem solved

Edit: Obviously you’ll need different keys for each button. Personally I set my M4 to [, M5 to ] and the button near my mouse wheel to F5.

Now it works perfectly in any game, I’m at no fear of accidentally pressing [ or ] during gameplay, and I also set my browser to have [ back and ] as forward, so they still function for browsing the internet. And obviously F5 is also a nice little refresh button on the mouse too

Seriously though, hit up Tech Support. It’s not just Blues, it’s other users that might be able to help. Posting here in General, it’s going to get lost in the mix.
