Key passives changes for a healthier druid

So currently druid is just a slog to play, with mechanics that really play against eachother and makes the gameplay clunky, but since druids are behind you are “forced” into these metas to actually progress and make a strong build.

Quickshift: This is just so bad, and not becuase its weak. Becuase it is so strong but clunky, even more now since after the patch becuase it needs to stack to 8. and every build utilize it.
Change it to 3% per stack per level and have it only stack to 3. and last for 10 seconds.

Beastial rampage: Just change this to be “when you are in werewolf/werebear form” and after for 15 seconds. Making it a trigger on use instead of having to wait for 2 seconds.

To bring the other key passives in line with this passive, i suggest the following changes.

Ursine Strength: 30% additional life in werebear and for 10 seconds after leaving werebear form. 30%[ x] dmg, 40%[ x] overpower dmg, and 50%[ x] crit dmg while healthy.

Perfect Storm: Same but have it be 30%[ x] increased damage with storm skills, and 50%[ x] against vuln, immobilized or slowed enemies

Lupine Ferocity: You deal 100%[ x] poison dmg of your hits(not base) that are critical hits, this is increased to 200% against injured enemies. Dmg with poison is also increased by 50%[ x]
Every 5th hit while in werewolf form is a critical strike with 50%[ x] increased dmg. This is increased by 100%[ x] against injured enemies.

Earthen Might: Damage and attack speed while in human form is increased by 25%[ x].
Lucky Hit: Damaging enemies with Earth or Storm skills has up to 15% chance to

  • Restore all spirit
  • Guarantee critical strikes for 5 seconds.

This is just some quick changes that would probably make Key passives more fun to choose and be more specific to what build you are playing, since 3 of them are barely even used. Tell me what you think and if something should be changed

Good ideas Nerofax.
Thumbs up, definitely worth a look for Blizzard.

Agree that Bestial Rampage needs the 2-seconds requirement removed. Now its too often doing nothing to prevent losing the buff.
Lupine ferocity: had the same idea. They should do something with poison.
Earthen Might: love the buff to human form. This is definitely appreciated by some players.

Thanks.
Ye I believe keys should have some extra benefits for certain forms for that “Druid” shapeshifting form aspect.
I believe this would make some keys very specific for certain forms, but still not be 100% locked to be used for it. Like Ursine will benefit you more by being a werebear but not lock the other aspect of it for that certain form.
And same with Lupine.

I vote for bestial rampage change so that I can change ursine to bestial for close to permanent 99% 50% dps boost uptime.

Agreed on Lupine needing to be shifted to poison focused mode. Pure werewolf needs to see quite a few changes to make poison a playstyle again. All key passives in the game need to scale off additive damage sources similar to CQC, Gushing Wounds, Victimize…etc. otherwise they become useless at higher Pits.

Shred needs to also have all 3 be dashes then rework the upgrades, the poison one should act more like Fireball doing additional direct damage based on amount of poison on enemy. Stormclaw aspect could also be turned into a poison explosion instead storm since it’s relatively useless and isn’t scaled by Thunderstruck.

This would be OP stacking with the 50%X on boss from petrify Ultra. I wouldnt say no to it thats for sure lol.

We have barbs doing 100b hits so I wasnt really holding back on this lol

I posted my opinion as well on the patch changes.

They’re negligently inadequate across the board.

It’s almost nauseating how incompetent the changes are.

THORNS?! They buffed THORNS??? My GOD!
