Spent the last 5 hours chain running Palid Delve dungeon trying to get a druid headpiece. Looking for Tempest Roar. In a group and everyone is getting about 7-10 Uniques. I get…1. Not sure what I am doing wrong at this point lol

Every character at creation is given an hidden stats called “rng_seed”. That will affect the random number generator.
In case you didn’t know the random is just a sequence of predetermine number base on the seed.
You are just unlucky to have a bad seed. Reroll a new character and hope it have a better seed.

Just keep grinding Nightmare Dungeons. Mine just dropped last night at level 81, from a random mob in the middle of the dungeon. It was one of those red humanoid ghost enemies.
Make sure your build is put together enough that you can tear through Nightmare Dungeons as fast as possible. Do not sit around and look at drops, only pick up legendary items if you’re trying to collect aspects, but always keep it moving.
The faster you are clearing these dungeons, the faster this drop will come to you. I don’t recommend target farming. Run 30+ Nightmare Dungeons as fast as possible.

That is my biggest issue. I didnt pay attention to “favored stats” in gear and i am only doing 12K crits and none of the 6 figure crits. So it is a slog through NM dungeons. The knives ain’t sharp. Yes, i have the same bad RNG luck as OP and now that they took out the “preferred” stats roll, i get the same repeat garbage on my rolls. My friend and his TB rogue has the best luck with unique. i keep getting the same garbage over and over. He just rolled a Druid and is seeing the exact same issue as me. Nothing but garbage. Eventually i will get he right gear to play with the big boys but with that and the grind for getting hte Gyhphs to 20 is tedious. At least with the story it was a distraction. Just wish the story was there for 50-100 as well. (and not wash, rinse, repeat the same boring slog)
It can definitely be tough. I was fortunate enough that I held on to almost all my legendary drops for aspects, a few key Hearts, and I would hold onto some Ancestral gear that had good stats as well as a decent level.
Was running Lightning Shred without a Tempest Roar, switched to Pulverize when a Vasilys dropped, then switched to Werewolf Tornado last night when Tempest Roar dropped. Holding onto all these items made stash management a headache but it was worth it to easily switch builds.
Run NM dungeons that are lower for now. Simply gaining levels is also a big power spike that will help you clear easier.
I think the best way to make any build better this season is getting yourself a Barber Heart if you do not have one. This heart makes up for parts of any build being on the weak side.
I have a Barber heart FINALLY, but the jewelry is crap that i dont want to waste it. I think the item level is 750 range for my best accessory but i need to get more then two favorable stats. Lol, eventually. Prob farm one of the pits tonight to see if I can get a second barber. Was Pulverize till 50, then a poison trample for better AOE. want to go Tornado were but need the helm. I have multiple of every other Druid unique but not that one. GL…
The Barber will make a big difference. Do some pit farming tonight for a second one and then use the weaker version asap.
I am right there with you. I am level 85 right now and no luck on tempest roar. I haven’t been target farming the NM dungeons with more hat drops. I have been doing the helm chests in HT.

Yep pretty much this. I have found 4TR but my first one dropped at 77. Its RNG, sometime the gods favor you and sometimes they dont.

They should make it 1H, and allow us to carry 2 at once!
While this may not hold true for Diablo games but many online games have an assigned rng seed that never changes which can sometimes lead to bad rng OR predictable rng outcomes.
Im pretty sure this is not true.
Level 100, never seen it drop.
