Necro is just stupid. They are just stupidly strong to the point I felt hacking or using a trainer.
You can clear World tier 3 at lvl 35 with no gear and tier 4 at lvl 50 again with no gear
At level 70 you can solo world boss in WT4
At level 80 you can do T100 dungeons and uber duriel.
At level 90 you can kill uber lilith under 2 minutes.
By the time you get to level 100 you feel stupid because you don’t have to think about anything

I think most classes can do this. At least by 75. World Bosses are way too weak currently.

not even close to reality. Season 2 is all about Necro
The top 4 world first level 100 are all necro for both softcore and hardcore
Necro damage and survivability is easily 10 times better than any other class IMO

Necro is plenty strong, but not even remotely close to as strong as you’re pretending they are.

so weird…
i was level 46 to clear wt3 and it took me 5 tries and i was fully geared and level 3 vampire runes equip’d…
im level 55 and just barely did wt3 world boss with a full group of people.

Then I’m pretty happy about deciding to play necro this season instead of rogue woohoo.
Play minion with blood surge, it relies on DeathSpeaker’s pendant unique, but this is one of the easier uniques to get and at lower levels. Add Blood lance and rathmas vigor and lean into health and overpower.
I regret playing this build in s1, only because it would have stomped in this season. It did not do badly in s1 either with barber and mendeln.
thats what im playing with skeleton reapers and cold mages (sac the golem) but I havent found the unqiue neck (i got a few uniques, gloves, chest and a 2hander syth)

Always make up your own mind based on your playstyle.
But I tried all the uniques and found the only ones that added real value to my build was DS pendant, Razorplate, and Mendeln…and I tried them all for the slow levels. Howl from Below is an honorable mention…but I eventually moved from CE to CT. And I did not scrap any of my minions. More minions add more value to the blood surge with DS. But if anything you can scrap the mages because they are not always in the enemies face.
Based on my experience from Season 1, I agree that Deathspeaker’s Pendant is quite a common drop because I have three of them in my eternal stash. However, one requires level 79, and the other two require level 80 to equip. That tells me I didn’t start getting them until I was already level 80. Unless I had horribly bad luck for not getting it at much lower levels, the Blood Surge build you’re talking about doesn’t get strong until level 70 to 80. And I have doubts it is that strong a build, but I was going to try that out this Season 2.
I have my doubts about the original poster’s claims of already reaching 100. The only build I can think of that might allow extremely fast leveling is the Infinimist build, but I doubt you can get your Lucky Hit high enough so quickly unless he got extremely lucky and got the uniques with high Lucky Hit affixes, which is necessary for Decrepify to even proc very often.

I got like 7 of the pendants, don’t remember when the first one dropped but it was early. It is what made me look into using blood surge. before that I was just using Reap and Lance or BS. So it seemed like an easy early drop from my perspective, then I asked a friend and he said it dropped for him pretty early too.
My first Mendeln dropped around 78 for me, and I had the pendant for some time before that.
As far as strong, I filled out bloodbath as my 2nd board before touching any of the minion boards. So at those levels it seemed more than adequate. I leaned into life and OP.
It was definitely not as strong as BS. I knew that then, I played BS too.
But I was intent on making minions and blood work last season.
And looking at the changes this season, I can already tell how much better it will be.
I said it before when everyone was putting rogue in S tier. The Blood Necro would be the best. Not necessarily minion version but some version that can trigger all the guaranteed OP.
I’m not buying any of his B.S either.
