Just delay the release

Im a big fan and want to start playing the full version tomorrow. But if it’s better for the game, just shift the launch.

There are so so many things that aren’t finished. And I’m talking about the small aspects of the game. Missing texts, voices, some windows and infos look wrong/not finished. What about the „It’s done when it’s done“ philosophy? Some things in D2 or D3 works better then in D4. It’s sad.

Right now, the game needs more polish.
Am I’m the only one…?

Yes. You are literally the only one. The only one brave enough to state such a thing about Diablo 4.

I salute you.

You are not the only attention seeker here. I think some of you people just like making these pointless threads. You are aware that the game is gonna release in 2 months yes? Not two days. And you don’t know the pace they work on so unless you are just trying to toss around your opinion for reasons, I think they are more qualified to set the release on their own game.

So if we are asking rhetorical questions, am I the only one who understands that was the beta and not the released game?

How about no?
I want to play, not wait another 6+ months just because a handful of people are disgruntled and unhappy.

You do realize it was a…what’s the term for a game that is not finished? Oh right a beta.
If only the devs had told us the game was not finished by calling it a beta. Then we would have known to expect that things would have been unfinished, and people would stop saying 'Delay the game, because this beta was a beta and I’m not happy that it was a beta."

Man, hindsight, huh?

Guys, I k ow it’s a beta.

The point is not, that tho gs aren’t finished right now!

It’s just 65 days and so much things to do. Oh and sorry, blizzard is NOT more qualified to bring release dates. You remember d3? WoW shadowlands? Overwatch?

Yep, we remember, and the devs remember.

So how about this, since I remember, don’t try to gaslight me?

The beta I played was more balanced than D3 65 days into live, by far.

So, because you’re not happy with how Act 1 of 6 (Plus a Prologue and Epilogue) and 2 difficulty out of 5 looks, and have no faith in Blizzard; You think the game should be delayed for everyone?

The beta looked fine for me. Nothing a full multi-billion-dollar team of developers can’t polish in 65 days.

I played a lot of the beta and some things needed fixing like subtitles not timed correctly, etc.

But I didn’t see anything that indicated the game couldn’t easily be ready for release 2 months later.

Majority of the complaints here are criticisms of the game design, not with technical issues that need to be resolved for launch.

Bring it on!

Game is fine. You are the only one.

That’s normal in a beta. Their main goal was to test server side functionality, and I think we found plenty of issues for them to fix on that front.

People are confusing a bug test with a demo, and providing useless feedback on these forums.

Exactly, that means no matter how long they postpone the launch it will still rocky. Just release it, it’s been 11years since d3.
The other thing is that we havent played most recent build for sure, many things might be already corrected.

Absolutely not. The game is in a fine state for release.

They won’t anyway…

Releasing 100% done games is not a thing, no matter the company. It’s always a beta test in the beginning while they try to sort all the bugs and issues out. Sad but what can you do. Wait a few months after release I guess.
