I own Vessel of hatred, I have a max level spirit born, and I have a hit paragon 204 at this point in the game. I’m failing to understand how come every single class that I have created can barely get past pit level 62 (Highest I got with minion Necro this season [Yes I know minon Necro has always been bad]) yet my spiritborn with half a functional build is clearing 90+ with almost no problem whatsoever.
I haven’t seen class favoritism this bad since WoW Legion when the demon hunters came out.
If this is the pattern that Diablo 4 will be taking with all of it’s expansion releases where the new class will wildly outperform all the other classes to the point that other classes literally STRUGGLE to do the same end-game content the new class is breezing through…Well this’ll be my last Diablo 4 expansion because I’m not changing my main class so you can arbitrarily sell your expansion pass to meta slaves.
I dont own VoH but I am not sure what convinced me to check out this new season in D4 without the expansion and to be honest I played it for minimum of 30 mins and I’ve uninstalled D4 it does not feel fun anymore.
Well, if you cant make it past Pit 62, i would assume thats a YOU problem, not a Spiritborn needs to be nerfed problem. You could wake me in the middle of the night, hand me a druid, and 1 day later he would be at least pit 80.
I have done it on Druid, and my gear is mostly: singleGA 10/12 with 3 pieces at 11/12
and 2 pieces my weapon and amulet at 12/12. So there is room to grow here just not that much. No Mythics. Uniques I am Using: Tempest Roar, Mad Wolf’s Glee, The lightning gloves, Waxing Gibbous, Mjolnic Ring.
I was probably 235 when I beat it, I am 236 now. This is the key difference if you are comparing to SB, you will not be able to do it as soon as you did it with that class(SB) as the numbers are painfully obvious. And nothing changes the fact that when your damage instaclears the screen you don’t need much else. But the other classes need to be built well all around.
The big issue for me now is Torment 4 is pointless. There is only one thing left to do and that is push pit. And in order to do that I will need to level glyphs more (mine are currently 52 or 53), find better gear with more GA affixes and re-masterwork…and literally there is nothing favorbale in Torment 4 as far as dropped items, I still see blue items and non-ancestral legendary items…which I would never have even gotten this far, if I was using those.
I have zero motivation to play anymore on this character. Why? just to do more of the same? Nah I would rather troll on my barb in hard mode. Maybe occasionally level some glyphs on the druid or farm T3 to masterwork to full 12/12 or any new gear. I already have some 2GA items from the lower torment levels.
I have had this exact experience with my barb almost to the word… I am playing with some friends but the grind to get everything MW to 12 or to get glyphs higher is wearing real thin.
I started the season as SB also and can farm pit 100 with my eyes closed. It was fun for a while but a little too easy so I decided to make a Barb just to see how bad it was.
And not just any Barb, one that utilizes a single basic skill (Frenzy) and dust devils to do damage. I run 3 shouts and wrath of the beserker with the shard of verathiel. I don’t even have a 6th skill slotted.
This build cleared a 62 and it’s probably to weakest build you can throw together and still has a path to getting over 65 and into T4 if I can manage to luck into a few GA drops as well as maxed aspects for imprinting on my gear. The nuts and bolts of the build actually work and it’s only held back because it can’t deal enough damage to the bullet sponge increased health + minion + damage resistance aura mobs in the pit.
Even trash tier builds can still get over the hump if you get all the other synergies right. It just takes n extraordinary amount of time and effort.
Really?
Yesterday I rolled a new LS sorc. First sorc of the season so no aspects or tempering manuals to really speak of. I did it by using whisper caches from my main in T4 which is why I was so devoid of aspects, manuals and the necessary unique of Tal’Rasha’s.
I did have three Mythics and 280 Paragon points.
But I only had one glyph to my name and it was level 13.
So a fresh 60 with a bunch of power missing and I walked into a Pit 65 (the requirement needed to go to T4) and I CRUSHED it.
No deaths with time to spare.
I don’t think it’s a stretch (I have been told that currently the highest pit done by a sorc is 110) to say that when I get the right gear with the right temper, the right glyphs that are leveled, Tal’Rasha and MW that I will crush Pit 110 and higher.
THIS WAS A HYPOTHETICAL BASED ON MY PIT 65 WITH ALL THE AFOREMENTIONED ITEMS MISSING. THIS IN NO WAY STIPULATES THAT I AM “THE BEST AT SORC.
Edit: I could be assuming a little too high if currently the highest sorc pit pushed is 110.
