Its unfair to ban people, who use exploits

It’s not the players’ fault if the game has a lot of exploits. It’s the game developers fault because they made the game. if many streamers / players wouldnt use them, nobody would ever know from their existence. and nobody would fix them. so be thankful that we find exploits and make the game better.

edit:

and no, i never used any exploits and my account is not banned. but its ridiculous, how buggy the game is. first that mobs spawned endlessly in the cellars, then that with the shako and now with the eternal server and other things i dont know about.

Agreed. If anyone should be punished it should be the devs who failed to actually play test the game.

This is so egregiously ridiculous that I can’t even begin to explain how wrong you are. Finding an exploit and reporting, isn’t the same thing as finding an exploit and abusing it.

Exploiting gives those players huge advantages over players that choose to play legitimately or are otherwise ignorant of those exploits.

Dammit, I cant tell if that is parody or not :frowning:

If that is the case then why does cheaters cheat on any competitive based game that involves competition?

As a competitive player that doesn’t cheat and has been playing games competitively since Halo 3, I don’t have sympathy for those that cheat period.

Ban all exploiters!!

im pretty sure it is. in the other post about being banned, the OP said something almost word for word the same. and he was serious about it.

pretty sure this is the new copy pasta.

There’s no leader boards. There’s no competition. This is a single player game with trash mmo elements.
It’s the devs fault full stop.

Depends on the exploit.

i.e., using a Barbarian to go after Helltide Helm Chests should not be bannable. Redoing the Season quest should not be bannable.

These exploits are the players just playing the game in a specific way.

On the other hand, forcing your Eternal realm characters into the Seasonal realm requires you to replicate many uncommon moves as a player. Doing an exploit like this should 100% result in punishment, including up to a ban depending on the exact situation.

Advantage over who? There’s no competition, no leader boards.

Someone wise once said, it’s not because you can do it, that you should. If you did though, you accept all consequences that come with it.

You can’t read either?

What does it matter in a single player game with no competition?
You can’t read apparently.
I don’t use exploits but I’m not affected by anyone who does

Just because there are no leaderboards currently, doesn’t mean that equates to give players the free will to cheat. It cheapens the experience for everyone else. As a Hardcore player only, that bothers me.

A Eternal realms character that played softcore can use such exploit to give items, gold etc., etc. To a Hardcore seasonal character. Hardcore is the competition. Just because Blizzard isn’t hosting there own race for season 1 doesn’t change that. There will always be hardcore races.

It’s okay to find the exploit.

The problem is once you find said exploit, you ought to know better to not take advantage.

Which, I know, people are going to anyway. But in doing so they waive their right to play the game and should expect a ban.

It’s like if an ATM f***s up and starts spitting out money, you don’t just take it, you get in a lot of trouble for that. You don’t just go “well it wasn’t my fault, it’s the fault of the people who set up the ATM! be grateful that I found it!”

Irrelevant, it does not have to be a competitive spirited game for other players to feel cheated when players abuse exploits that provide a huge advantage over them.

Its like when people cheat playing board games, it makes you not want to play anymore

How does it affect you in any way? :joy:
You guys are hilarious.
Oh no it’s fair but it literally effects me in no actual way :joy:

Affects* Please learn how to at least use the proper words if you’re going to troll with cancer emoji’s.

No it’s not like cheating in a board game because it affects others.
Idc what people do in a single player game

It’s 100 percent their fault, if they engage in it that’s breaking the ToS they agreed to, doesn’t matter how you feel about it.
