It’s ridiculous how much essence reduction/generation you need for this build even when min/maxed. I’m running a legacy Shako still because of the buff to resource gen, just so i can squeeze a little more attack speed onto the build. It’s seriously time to reduce the cost.
On similar note, that nerf to Rathma’s Vigor is uncalled for. Blood Surge already has a hard enough time running around trying to attack and pick up blood orbs at the same time. Please either give us a way to suck up the orbs with our drain (it even fits with the skill description of draining blood), or reduce the time on Rathma’s Vigor back down.
Last thing I want to say is awesome job on the PTR devs. So far I’ve been loving the experience and everything feels really good!

If bone spirit still OP then throw away blood surge build its just trash imo, struggling at boss fight, it is good clearing alot of mobs but not worth the struggle for boss thats for sure.
Ya instead of asking the devs to buff the build and get it on par with other builds we should just trash it. That’s a great idea.

The stats are exactly the same as now if you have Ancestral ilvl 800 gear.
You’re right. It took me a while to get the proper ancestral gear. I forgot how much MW into it helps. But even so the overarching picture is that the skill has always costed too much essence. It did before the PTR and it does during the PTR. Every piece of legendary gear has to have some kind of essence regen or cost reduction for the build to be competitive at higher levels. It’s just silly.
For a skill that kill an entire screen per cast, high essence cost is fair
