Horrible decision
hope they get rid of it after few seasons than, I can’t imagine to do them longer than 1-2 seasons.

Even after finishing it on my main char I was so happy to not have to do it again on other chars
Renown farming is by far the worst feature of Diablo 4. -.-

Suck it nerds. This game isnt a “hand me the endgame on a platter and let me do 1-2 dungeons on repeat from the second I roll a character” simulator.

Inb4 people who dont want to play the game cry about the game not being gutted.

So we start with map and altar buffs. Pretty much everything we thought since Day 1. After we earn full renown in S1 do we then start S2 with full renown though?

My understanding is we start with the renown for alters and uncovering map so that’s 1000 renown. That’s a decent chunk.

I’m fine with not having to uncover the map and get the alters again. If all that’s left is clearing the dungeons and strongholds i’ll be fine with it, I don’t wanna do the side quests.

Yeah I don’t want to have to respam dungeons and quests again either. Some quests were kind of fun most I just skipped through to get done and couldn’t care less.

Definitely some WoW team level bad ideas in this game. Why do they think WoW is dying? Cause of ideas that force things down players throats lol!

Has anyone actually calculated the time needed to complete last 3 tiers? Like in hours?

the story is actulay quite fast to do, question is what happens with the experience you get if you skip most side quests and go for story instead.

Seasons should flip the last two columns on the renown chart. Earn the paragons before the obol expansion. I don’t mind doing some things, but I Do NOT want to do it all over again every 3 months. Or better yet, merge it down to 2 columns and just increase the renown requirement for each very slightly, so if you earn about 1/2 the total you get it all.

They essentially said they want each ‘update’ to feel like they’re adding content. So all these ‘fixes’ don’t fit in right away.

Basically a drip feed so you ‘think’ you’re getting new stuff.

You know, the stuff that SHOULD have been tested and in game NOW.

i jusst finished renown and no i’m not doing this again.
they made some big changes that are great but farming renown does not belong in an ARPG. thats boring MMO stuff. keep that in WoW Blizzard

it’s the “new content” they promise to include each season, do all again every 3 months. Good Decision will for sure retain more players.

yes, the most tedious parts are done for seasons and you’ll be doing dungeons/side quests to level so I don’t think it will really be THAT bad
