Having 3 ultimate options is just dumb and lazy, and limits build options. There, I said it. There is no reason for some classes to have 4 ultimate options and then others to have 3.
You know whats even more dumb? The fact that a lot of builds don’t even use an ultimate lol
You know whats even more dumb… some skills dont even exist for all the flags on a class making it difficult to scale damage with synergies that blend.
You know what’s really questionable design choice? Ultimate skills deal less damage than Basic skills. On a 60 second cooldown.
Why does it matter how many ultimate skills they have
and this is the real question. its not a matter of how many they have, its a matter of how they fit, and their effectiveness. if its possible to build and not use them, thats not necessarily an issue either, but if no one else uses them, then clearly the design is flawed in some way, or other things are clearly OP, etc. we do not need all classes or skills to be the same, we want perfect… imbalance.

You know what’s even more dumb? Ultimate Skill Damage Multipliers not applying to a literal Ultimate Skill. Ahem, WOTB, ahem.
Same reason if there was one core skill for a class it’d be crappy design. Different skills work better with different OTHER skills. Hence build diversity.
