So, i’ve been trying to buy items on the market a few times, but i’ve had the issue multiple times where the item doesn’t state any class requirement, but still has the mention “Not useable by your class”.
I’ve had this happen with items looted on my spiritborn which i transfered to my alt necromancer too.
That item had no spiritborn affix, no spiritborn legendary affix, nothing at all like that, just a regular crit crit atk speed, with generic legendary affix.
And yet since it was looted on my spiritborn, i can’t use it on my necromancer.
I’ve bought a few items on the market with the same problem, and i’m now stuck with useless items I can’t equip.
This looks like a bug, and a pretty game breaking one when it comes to trading, especially since the diablo trading website state that most of those items are “non-class specific”
This needs to be adressed and fixed soon, because it makes trading very annoying and almost impossible.

Same thing here, still not able to trade items I found on my toon, it would be nice to hear from Blizzard on what they will do to fix.
Never happened to me at least until now.
I started with rogue and now i can use my stashed items on spiritiborn.
I just have to change the aspect and an affix if necessary.
Also keep in mind that primary stat matters.
For example if the item has dexterity you can’t use it on a necro.
You have to roll dexterity with necro to get intelligence or whatever.
Also having this issue. This is a first for me. Traded for an ammy with Dex and went to put it on my SB and got the “it’s not for me.” It’s any ammy… not unique and nothing super special about it, but I would love to put it on.
Blizzards… fix your stuff please. If you have to skip a season or make a “generic” one in order to fix the actual issues of the game… That would be great.
I think this is a problem, because every class can use stat like intelligence or dexterity, since it gives other stats like all resist or whatever. So I think it’s stupid to make items class locked because it has those stats
Completely agree. Especially on Jewelry. Eternal trading is already such a pain. Don’t need to make it impossible.
