Itemization is going in the right direction, but end game power is TERRIBLY overdone

Damage totally out of control. WAY too many people using cookie cutter builds given to popular streamers to share with the world for a clickbait minute of fame and the game is just a walking loot farm now.

Even hardcore is a joke. I get to 100 and the whole point of playing just dies for me because I know it’s about to become a complete garbage can steam roll.

Can we get ANY semblance of challenge and fear back? At all??? Please??? I’ve never seen so many people just walking through spamming 1 button, literally being bored on their characters in some cases, because you get to a point in less than 3 or 4 days where you can just basically afk farm everything on basically the hardest settings in hardcore.

Diablo was built on actual terror feeling of the dungeons. This isn’t that anymore. If we’re not going to bring that back, can we at least be honest with ourselves and rename the franchise to Lilith? Because it’s not even Diablo anyways…

You can only wish…50% playerbase didn´t even reached 100LVL in S4.

That is all you need to know.

This is what people want. When they encounter the slightest challenge they make rage posts about how “broken” the game is.

Who cares what builds other people are using? Just make your own and have fun playing. I don’t have a streamers build and I’m enjoying endgame progression. Just make your own and see what you can do with it.

nah itemization is incredibly bad, still D3 level.
As i said a lot time before those loot reborn changes such as GA and etc was only good for 1 season. Literally bandaging. Nothing really changed.

Itemization still could use some improvement. However, what baffles me is that WT3 is practically a joke and non existent at this point. Went to WT3 at level 44 where the capstone dungeon says 50+. Completed it effortlessly. level maybe to at least 50 in WT3 and went straight to the WT4 Capstone dungeon which is 70+. Again completed it easily.

So now literally level 55(leveled up since then) in WT4. Game has become to trivial in terms of power only till the end game do you get to test your power.

Well you went to WT3 to late…you should enter at 35 and you can enjoy whole 20 lvls there  almost an hour of fun

The one and only thing that could save itemization in D4 - they should remove aspects from the gear.

There is no solutions that could save it except this one - all of them will be just bandaging for 1 or 2 seasons at most.

Good so we are two who think apepects (or at least their current state) is bad.

Would like only some utility aspects (no power gain)

But cosidering they are mostly pure dmg. there is no variabilty anyway and all builds use predefine aspects.

Yeah, im not really sure what they need to do at this point to clean it up. I mean, this my opinion is why did they feel the need to add vuln, overpower. We already got crit, and crit hit damage so why not just keep it at one thing.

I mean early launch some classes were forced to take skills that could apply vuln, because of the damage it provided. Thankfully they added easier ways for some classes to apply, but majority of the classes are now filling their bar up with defensive skills.

i wonder will we ever see reborn of loot reborn lmao

Crit, vuln and overpower aren’t the issue. The problem is that you can now stack several 200% [ x ] damage multipliers and start hitting for barbillions of damage.

Well yeah if you are talking about Barb and their beloved bash… It easy to stack for that, plus not to mention the aspects that go along with it. Of course they will do Barbillions of damages.

I dont know how new you are to this forum, but when D4 launched it was a slower, more difficult, and methodical game but, the community online did not want that. Every post in this forum for months was about how boring the game was in that state. Unfortunately, instead of making the game they initially had visioned, the devs caved to the player response and now we have a game that the criers wanted. It doesnt suck, but for me, its not as much fun. Ive only played this season for like 5 hours and I already have a level 70 rogue.

In terms of builds - I dont use that crap you see on the tube. I watch build videos because it helps me cultivate ideas but, I typically just find something that seems fun and do that. Which I think runs into what you’re saying about items. I do think items are getting better and even though the tempering system is 50/50 its a great idea. This helps add a lot of variety to builds.

But yeah - power is nuts. Im running through level 100 content with a level 70 off-meta rogue build with unoptimized gear. Crazy.

Are you serious, OP?

Go do challenging pits instead of the easiest content before you come here crying about some silly BS.

Bro’s over here doing open world content talking about “it’s too easy, I’m too strong”… Get real.

Yea they probably have a life outside of this game

Well sure, nothing bad about it.
But Blizzard should maybe rething their decision making game for players who spent less than 10 hours on their game per 3 months.

I can’t speak to others, but my issue since launch was that the sheer randomness of items and the bloat of unecessary affixes made finding an upgrade at a certain point basically impossible while still very much required to progress.

I think perhaps they overcorrected - I like that I can actually have a real gear progression that still has random elements, but they made everything too powerful while failing to balance content to match.

I’m sure he is speedfarming tier 200 pit.

Blizzard doesn’t care for role playing elements anymore. Just listen to the developers talking about the game. All they care for is efficiency. They treat the game as an action game. Think of Call of Duty but you’re against bots instead of players. That’s D4.
